Thank you for posting this. I've done a few maps but my skills are way behind what is now being offered in the editor, your video is really helping. Would you consider doing a video of how to create a night map in DK2, including the fuse box and inside lighting and how it all ties together with the NVG view? I've tried converting one of my older maps to a night one but I can't see to get it to work like the night maps that have been released since the DK2 Night Ops Update. Thanks for reading this!
amazing tutorial, I constantly comeback, just for a tip I may have missed, so far my biggest complaint with the editor, and its partially user error, is I like to place object to see if they'll fit in the room, followed by deleting it, then I'll place an NPC, but there FOV is blocked by an invisible object, I've tried everything I could think of, but I usually end up rage deleting the map. Another complaint, which was solved by trying to find out how to fix the first issue, NPC, and PC's can see through walls and doors, and it drives me nuts I figured out the issue with the walls, but occasionally Some FOV can see through some spots on the doors(before I get a troll, yes they are the solid doors). any idea on how to fix these issues?

I can't get triggers to work, am I stupid? At first I was wanting to make it so waves of enemies spawn at just a simple time interval, but as I was trying things out I failed to even get a simple proximity spawner to even spawn enemies. What am I doing wrong, can anyone help me out?
My knowledge on the matter is not so fresh anymore. Make sure to crosscheck the settings with my video, if it doesn't help I'd recommend you join the DK2 Discord, where helping hands are readily available :) Good luck!
Spawners are not typically used for enemy's, here is how to get a proximity spawner to work. Step 1. Place a trigger where you want the tripwire to be Step 2. Set the trigger to "when a good guy enters area" and set the radius. I'd recommend placing something to mark the trigger. Step 3. Place a waypoint where you want the enemies to spawn Step 3.5 optional. If you want the enemy to move after Spawning, create a path as shown in the video. Step 4. Select the trigger and target the waypoint, you should see new options on the left that look something like this. Walk 🔽 Acton - 🔽 human 1 Step 5. Choose what enemy's you want to spawn and how many of them, there is a limit to how many enemy's can spawn, you can also chose if you want them to walk run or patrol This should work if you did everything correctly.
I wagely remember this bug but I don't remember what fixed it, I think it had to do with the wall placement. I recommend you post your problem in the door kickers discord (see description) and you'll quickly have it resolved. Cheers
