Another tip that you guys may not know is when playing DMZ you can check your map and if there are no more hunt squad contracts on the map then you’re the only player/team left to exfil

Be careful though, it could also mean that all the contracts have been done by different teams already.

Fun fact : If u take a vest it will give u the amount of plates to be full so if u find a vest lvl 2-3 / put ur plates on the ground u already had it will give u 2-3 plates for free

Don't sleep on the sentry gun, I know in most cod games they aren't the most useful. But they've helped me exfil multiple times when Im running solo in DMZ. While I wait for the exfil heli to land ill set the sentry gun down & it will lay down supressive fire if any teams pull up. One game I had a 4 man team pull up in an armored truck. It knocked 2 of the 4 while I was posted up on the opposite side of the street, shooting at the other guys. I downed 1 and so the last guy started running off but I sent an invite, got them all up, and I exfiled with them. They told me they were so confused as to who was shooting at them, they thought I had a team but I was by myself the whole time. Only problem is I'm not sure if the sentry turret will flush players but it will knock them, so they're worth picking up...🤷
This is why i love dmz more than warzone its like a whole movie when your playing
SG is absolutely useless, I’m level 250 and I’ve tried it more times than I can count since launch and I’ve not found a single situation where it’s useful. At extract the AI take it out without a single kill most of the time, it takes so long to activate once placed that it’s useless in combat situations, regardless of where you place it there’s a huge marker on the map telling everyone where it is and it also only kills players/AI that are on the same level as it so it’s also useless on uneven ground. The fact that they’re powered by the smallest battery known to man also makes them useless. I wouldn’t even waste an inventory spot by picking one up.

I also try not to kill the surrounding bots if I can help it. They work as an alarm & a bit of security

When you get the hostage in the Hostage Contract, it will give you your very own chopper that does not show up on the map. So other players in your lobby can't see the extraction location unless they see the chopper in person
Too bad they severely cut down the number of contracts available

@poppa_smoke_DMZ Not happened to me. But I haven't been on DMZ since MW3 started. It could be a glitch as they are no longer doing updates for DMZ except for maintenance, or they could be doing a faction mission where you need to take the hostage to the final exfil

When dying in DMZ, beg for help - worse case scenario is that nobody helps you and you die, best case is someone revives you and you live as part of their squad.
I was about to exfil when someone appeared next to me, I killed them, then begged for help so I revived them and dropped them a spare self res. We both extracted happy.

If you spawn near Sawah Village, you can climb onto the hotel roof where you can drop into 2 locked rooms where there's a golden deagle and a good amount of loot/cash with a buy station nearby to sell the valuable items.
That’s why the two keys for the rooms are useless idk why their still in the game
@@Messup7654 if the building spawns as a stronghold, the keys become the only way in. Niche use case but still

@@Messup7654 probably for when it is a stronghold and the roof isn't an option. But then again it's probably easier to just skip it that run.
I think the best way to get at least decent gears when you just died and go in solo is to do a simple secure supplies contract. It will guarantee always give you a 2 plate vest, a medium backpack and a self revive.

I’m almost 70 and I play solo because half my friends are dead and the ones still living don’t game.
Train is way to go just statistically. If you drop naked there is literally nothing to lose, so its like you loot all the stuff or die in process or shortly after, lose like 5 minutes total and try again.
Problems are starting if you spawn too far of have guys nearby with very same plan.
But actually this could come in handy, don’t forget that you could team up - I’d prefer safely loot half/third of the train and squad up and continue looting with couple of guys as my backup then loot shit ton of loot and get killed second after.
ON1C, I just loved this video. I've watched others of yours but this was the one I liked the most. I'm from Brazil and I decided to look for a channel that focused on the DMZ and I came to you. Love me some solo DMZ! Sometimes it seems so hard to find some luck on DMZ but with knowledge like what's in this video it helps a lot to have a more consistent experience. I like your calm speaking voice and music edits too!

good advice, one thing I would add is rather than keeping all that inventory you can dump the more valuable items into a deaddrop that way you free up inventory space and if you get killed at b4 extract whatever you deaddropped will still count to you insured weapon time.

Any of the ammo resupply buildings usually have good kit too, and you can get into Al bagra fortress stringhold and saìd city mall with out keys too
This was very helpful, with each advice from you and other content creators I am getting better at DMZ
Good tips, though I add to take the spotter scope. Especially using the thermal, it’s excellent at giving a good read of your surroundings, without the scope glint. Which is great for keeping out the way of aggressive teams

@@ad_chilidawg69420 throwing knives are good for stealth but I think thermies are the best way to take out reinforcement choppers
Best is just stim or gas grenade and Semtex gas grenades are like large stuns and are great for bots and humans and sentences are great for riot shielders helicopters and vehicles
I always bring a drill charge for choppers and riot shields

The weapon safe contracts almost always guarantee a large bag and three armor vest as well. Little risky as a solo but still got good rewards

I'm really learning how to play this game the hard way. It's just that until I get some good gear and strategy I'm not going to be that good in a squad. So if I can rely on myself to get the job done then I'll be more useful for a team.

Finding the gear is an issue. You can spend all day gathering the gear to solo a stronghold mission and have the cheating assed game drop five level twos in front of you out of thin air and you lose everything. I always carry a couple self revive/pistols and rarely get to use them when players and armored bots kill you anyway

man at the 11:35 mark there was a medium backpack at the ground near the supply drop wich means the player that looted the supply drop have certainly found a large backpack in it, so you was right ^^.
I'm a relatively new DMZ player, and finding gear has been one of my biggest beginner struggles. I can't wait to try your regaining methods (I came to this video from the DestroySupplies/RaidStash video) when I get off work!

Another tip of mine, if you can find the AI with the M4 with green lasers, they are fantastic. When I have a medium bag I'm always looking to exfil with 2 of those for my.stash when my insured is out.

Those are the blue super soldiers tons of armor great aim and they don’t come by themselves a solo is dying to them most of the time. That’s why I just use key locations I already have like 25 horsing keys and using them are the best
@Messup7654 depends on where they are at. If you check the police station they usually spawn 5-6 of them inside a barricade in the back parking lot. As a solo you can snipe them from either the PC building or the roof of the academy without too much hassle.
They also spawn near destroy supply missions without being too tanky.
Life is rough for a solo in DMZ right now. Be careful
I love DMZ, it's a dynamic unique experience each time. I like to play solo and practice patience and guile and in a team I get to practice instructional leadership
Man this video was so relaxing. The chilled music is so much better than the crazy edm music some people use
Avoid the train unless you can get on instantly. If you ain't lucky enough vs players it isn't always lootable due to a moving glitch and if you looted it's a big chance a 2-3 man comes and kill you. I always do destroy missions for safes, often you can even find the safes without launching the missions when you learn their spawns
Exactly bro and don't you love how he doesn't explain that just makes it look like it's so easy to jump on the train grab guns and down a whole fucking squad he even said he got lucky this shit is like every one out of 10 runs trying this.
Train is usually packed by atleast 1 team, i managed to down 2 of them but the last one got into the other 2's truck and managed to run me down, train was too far, but if i spawn there again i will try again
that said, solo play is good but what ive seen is that if a teammate does an activity that is one of your missions it will count as completed which is really good
Great tips, going to add the throwing knife to my loadout regardless! By the way, seeing how you extracted, I had that same view while on the extraction chopper until I died because another player roped up and entered through one of the side doors. I was done playing for the day 🤣

The donut shaped armory buildings are pretty great for the regain too! I always hit one up when I see one if I need gear.
I knew about the train, tents, hospitals, but never knew you can find dog tags on downed operators, and that they are worth some money! Only downside is that they take up an inventory slot…

The large living quarters in Rohan have a ton of lockers. Usually I can get a medium bag and three plate out of just two of the buildings

Something i found out by accident is you can repair the car tires if popped, also the new flyable heavy chopper you can fly into the redzone edges on xfill with it, although it dose require the special heavy chopper fuel you can refuel it like any other car at a petrol station
If you find yourself near one depoing money and valuables in any dumpster dead drop will count towards insurance whether you die or not. And afaik it takes twice as much time off your insurance as extracting with it.

If you drop all your cash and other valuables at a dead drop it reduces insurance weapon time and frees up space in your backpack! Much better than trying to extract before you need to!
True I wish deadrops would keep your stuff safe so that you didn't need to extract. U can be reckless without worrying about losing mission stuff

As always brilliant videos and super helpful. Quick nugget of useless info you accidentally missed a large back pack with the team you wiped in the beginning which would have meant a solid loot up on exfil saving you the loot boxes. But still great content and info! Thanks ON1C

With the last supply drop, the building it landed on is loot haven. Orange flags indicates orange crates.
Orange flags also represent a stronghold
The ship wreck and the lake too ,does have stuff . But it randomize . Think it have a cave but it does have a lot of AI
I always go to a building with lockers if I'm just starting..medium bags and 2 plate vests are almost always in them if there is a few of them to check
I'd love to show ya one of my refill runs haha, I call em my zero to me-ro, if I was a hero I'd use the other one. But I have a few paths I like to take. All I do is try n find a stronghold and go nuts.
Throwing knives are so under-rated. They are perfect when you're in a jam or in the hot-seat. Especially when you're on the exfil helicopter and teams are pushing to get on. The fact it is an immediate down nice. I usually get cussed out when I use them. HA!
