Notice how many times Valverde is doing something similar Kroos is doing whenever he receives ball under pressure, his first touch is directed in a way to escape this pressure/tight space, brilliant move and it shows how much these young players like Fede, Cama or Tchuameni can still learn from the experienced guys
Once Kroos and Modric retire that'll be our midfield trio. We have our squad player in Ceballos but we really need a backup cdm. I really want them to test Militao or Vallejo

I think tchouameni holds too much the ball and doesn't defend that much well but it's a great player, once he learns to be dynamic like Casemiro was or how camavinga is he will be unstoppable bcz of his physicality and height
He needs to learn to play his role like Casemiro did they let cross and modric do the job and kept more his position not because he didn't have quality but bcz it's necessary that someone sacrifice himself
I feel like he wants to go forward all the time and to be in his position he needs to be a one touch player recive and pass movie around defenders and looking for the forwards and the midfielders
But the guy is only 19 there is a lot to learn and improve

Thing with Cama, is his poor awareness. Most of the time he receive the ball with his back upfront then got closing down, he'd definitely lost the ball. Free roam role like Milan's Seedorf would be better for him rather than that Deep Lying so that he would not need asking the ball from backline and play a bit forward. Way he slalom across midfield just mesmerizing.
You are mistaking inexperience with poor awareness, because the very same conclusion could be made describing kante's game. I am not sure camavinga would have played much games matching the pace and intensity of the one above.
