The second amendment is pure bullshit reinterpreted so gun manufacturers could sell guns to dumb ass Americans. Now we kill each other with firearms for little or no reason. No matter how gross the mass murder or the age of the victims, the US has been fooled into believing we have to live like barbarians. Every civilized country has done what was necessary to save the lives of its citizens. The US does the opposite. We made owning guns and killing people with guns simple with less responsibility.
The more people die from guns, the more people buy guns. The more guns we have, the more people die from guns. The US citizens are much too stupid to comprehend simple correlations and feedback systems, even while it is killing us.
Of course, we must ban weapons designed to shoot through walls, including weapons of war. But the gun industry said hell no. We will not be denied our fortune even if it means children have to be shot to pieces such that DNA will be necessary to identify the victims. This is America, death by gun is promised to every living human in our country.
We can fix this problem if we have a brain and the balls to do what is necessary. The 2nd amendment is a right and its up to individual people to decide if they want to carry or not. Secondly, there are millions of people who choose to carry everyday. There are threats in the world and people choose to protect themselves should a life or death threat were to arise. With that being said, carrying isn't a new concept. It's normal and millions of people have grown up with weapons for decades.

When I lived in Queens New York I had to live as a outlaw because I carried a firearm with out a permit. If I had to use it ,it would have been because my life was in danger and I figured that I'd rather be judged by twelve than carried by six. I now live in Ohio where it pays to be a law abiding citizen and have constitutional carry.

I know it’s ridicules that people are mad at this ruling. All the SC said was you can’t arbitrarily deny people now with the may issue scheme. All the insane steps are still in place but now you’ll actually have to give people a permit when they go through them. The main issue with the law is that applicants needed to show a specific reason to carry a gun, rather than the general reason of it being a constitutional right.
Nyc will probably try to jack the price of a permit up even higher than it currently is.

In 2016 I believe the ninth circuit court the most liberal court in the nation ruled that we can carry open or concealed with no permit in all 50 states and Washington DC a rifle or handgun 365 days a year 24 hours a day all the states. It cost me $12,500 retainer on a lawyer but I challenge New York on this in 2017 and walked out of the state police barracks with my A.R. 15 and three handguns and several thousand rounds of ammunition and targets. It is a God-given right the government can never infringe upon or make us pay for a permit or a suppressor tax stamp or any of those things they’re all non-constitutional

The dissent makes no sense. No criminals have sought a permit before committing their crimes. They're not going to seek licenses now.

It all depends on which state you live in. In most states that have a ccw, you must be at least 21, as that is the age you can legally buy a handgun. And that is constitutional.
There is currently a case in the 9th Circuit (West coast and Hawaii) addressing this issue. The court recently ruled that 18-20 year olds do have Second Amendment rights. It is set to go to the 9th Circuit Cour of Appeals en banc review, where the ban will most likely be upheld, because 51/51 times, the en banc panel has upheld gun laws using intermediate scrutiny and balancing of interest to examine the law. They often rule that the law does indeed violate the Second Amendment, but it's okay because it's for safety or the best interest of the State.
However, with this Ruling, the majority said the lower courts must use Strict Scrutiny, so who knows how the 9th Circuit will rule this time.
If DA's and prosecutor would do their jobs and lock up violent criminals, I wouldn't feel the need to carry.
