- For 32 years, the Sinulog Festival has been a traditional celebration in Cebu City held every third Sunday of January to honor the Santo Niño (Child Jesus). Basically, the festival is done by a dance ritual, which tells the story of the Filipino people's pagan past and their acceptance of Christianity.

The Philippines reached the top of my list of most favorite countries after visiting 40 countries. Filipino people are among the most accommodating, welcoming, and kindest nations I have ever met. Try instead the Cebuano delicacies like Otap, Rosquillos, Ampaw, Tikoy, Bibingka or Puto sticky rice with ripe mango 🥭 and hot chocolate. You normally see it in Carbon or Tabuan market early morning. Freshly baked Otap and Rosquillos are sold in their main store in Liloan, north of Cebu otherwise you can just go to their branch in Fuente Osmena. These are original desserts Cebu is famous and known for. Local travelers buy these stuff if they visit Cebu so they can bring these to their love ones. Aside from lechon, chicharon, chorizo and sweet mangoes, these are the desserts of Cebu.

Surely ,you can see difft. Kinds of native delicacies of our country in one of the markets at manila. If i am not mistaken it must be baclaran or quiapo. Try to asks anyone when you are going back to manila. I've seen a foreign vlogger trying so many native delicacies in one of the food stalls in that place.
