Quite clear just watching this video anyone getting into flash loans needs to have a programme that executes trades in a blink of an eye, or else loan will be cancelled, and user will just be left with gas and slippage fees to pay. You want a fast way into flash loans, you have to sit down and learn about it properly, there are no free meals in Forex or flash loans.

how do you use aave for the flash loan? I put in the same numbers you had in the example, but send was grayed out unless I put in an amount from my own connected wallet...and then the result is less than what I would put in.

mmm, I think there is a confusion. You don't monitor manually arbitrage opportunity and write a flashloan contract for a specific opportunity.
You monitor arbitrage with a script and execute a flashloan contract that has already been deployed.

There is no collateral for a Flashloan, that's the whole point :)
There is no duration for a Flashloan, they happen in a single transaction. So no you cant do an arbitrage of 8-12 weeks.

Not even one success story. What about non flash loans like liquidity in-out and defi. Staking. Any success story on this platform
That's what I'd like to see. The potential is there. But what about real case profits from real people? Even the first profitable trade ended up not being profitable because of fees. Those million dollar profit trades were simple hacks to the limits of the exchanges and were impressively complex.

You deposit whatever you provide as input of your flashloan: eth, tokens, etc...
AAVE is without colateral crypto (Ether, others); only pay gas.
Maybe it doesn't work now because the Aave Flashloan does not exist.
For anyone else looking, this is not currently profitable. You'll end up losing money at the end.

No, a flashloan has no duration, it happens in a single transaction.

Every transaction on ETH Blockchain needs you have available Gas Fees and then you need a wallet with some ETH. This is the pillar of Blockchain tech and flashloan is not exception. Even if the whole transaction chain has a negative output you HAVE to pay Gas Fees.

I believe the flash loans are broken, The most profit I’ve gotten was $1.50. I can’t use a flash worth one million because the slippage is too high and once I start swapping tokens I lose more and more money.

Nothing works there Julien! And the one person who reported making a killing never was paid out! Good for understanding the process but hard to make it work and don’t count on receiving anything if you do strike a profit! Lesson, don’t count on third parties…learn to code your own in solidity!

At the time I made this video the service I mentioned in the video was working properly (in the sense that it allow you to take a flashloan... but of course it doesn't mean you will make money, this is up to you).
It's been several years since this video was posted, and it's possible that this service doesn't work anymore, I don't know.

So far their is only 1 guy who has executed a flask loan and took 45 million from bunny swap. Furucombo is limited to dapps. I have found chyna exchanges are a great opportunity to create arbitrage events. It be nice if we could actually decide who we use or what exchanges or dapps. Very limited. And so far every video I've watched has never actually brought up that you need 200$ for the gas fees just to see it work. Even if the transaction are good to rock!
