We will never again experience this level of such fine acting and wonderful entertainment ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I heard this on NPR in the early 80s when I was a kid. Have been looking for this episode ever since. Glad to say I finally found it. Thanks for posting!
Best unobtainable cigar ad I've ever heard!
Seriously though, I love it.
I found some Bradbury narrated by Leonard Nimoy too, happy listening everyone!
This was amazing I absolutely loved this one. Thank you for uploading all these, I've been listening to these radio dramas nonstop!
This is the darkest Bradbury story I ever remember encountering. I thought I had seen right through it and was completely taken by surprise by the ending.
Great story!
I love Bradbury, finally in bed and listening, thank you!
Excellent!
Wow! Just found this channel, awesome
Great story. (One comment on the description, though: they’re BOTH scientists; LOL!)
I am so confused. Was there a short story by Arthur C. Clarke, almost identical to this one? I can't remember the title, and I adore Clarke and Ray Bradbury--I'm just mixed-up. Does anyone remember?
Bill was so naive, even when the searcher presented the facts lol
The searchers aren't from another world... They are from Earth's future. There is also a reference to "Back to the future".
I would love to know what and where the reference is, if you don't mind telling me, thanks.
Me too! Thanks.

Arguably the world of 2155 would be a lot different from the world of 1955, so the "Searchers" are from another world, but they aren't from another planet.
Are Bradbury stories public domain?
I don't know for sure, but I doubt it. These OTR adaptations are however.
To the future. 1955. Yellow suited alien. Was back to the future paying homage to this or borrowing ideas?
Would you mind telling me where to find the reference? I'd love to know!
Little bit of both
That Mexican guy sure had a really heavy Russian accent...
Stay away from the casting couch Susan.
The other version is a lot better.....a noticable difference..it by dimension X
