Absolute lifesaver for Scottish students stuck at home due to lockdown, feels like i'm learning more than I would even at school so thank you Mr Smith; I love you

High praise indeed! I do it for the love of Physics - I've actually been watching this series of videos myself recently because it reminds me what I need to go over when I teach my class online. I'm glad it's helping though - all the best!

Another great video from mr smith physics! I didn’t enjoy physics at the start of this year, but I did ad Nat 5. Over the course of this year your videos have allowed me to enjoy physics once again. Thank you very much!

You've got great taste. As for Physics, I've loved it since I started in Third Year with the great Mr Milton in Aberdeen. Glad you're back enjoying it again.

In last video when recombination takes place heat is emitted now here its said light is emitted? What's the difference? Why light here?

    • @MrSmithsPhysicsonline

That's related to the materials used and the design of the LED itself - it's not something that's required at Higher level so I've not covered it in the video.
