Another great video! I've spent a lot of time in Budapest over the years but not ridden many of the trolleybus routes. Mainly because I usually stay on the Buda said and beacuse I've been slowly ticking off each tram route. Now I've done most of the tram routes I hope to explore more of the trolleybus routes.
Every vehicle type has its own color, regular busses are blue, trolleybusses are red, trams are yellow, and the metro + hév (suburban commuter lines) are all assigned their number and color but most people just refer to them by the number.
There are 9 Ikarus 280T Trolleybuses in Budapest, most of them are renovated, but the Pieces 266 and 271 are unrenovated, and 239 has black handrails. At the Time of recording it was a week, when there were 3 Ikarus 280T-s out, two Pieces on the Line 75 and one Ikarus 280T on the Line 77, and all 3 Pieces were out in the morning and afternoon rush hours too.
I hope you enjoyed Budapest! Ikarus trolleybuses and older Solaris ones are planned to exit service in 2025-26, and after that only Skoda Solarises will be in Budapest. In Early 2023 Ikarus 435T and MAN NGE152 types ended their service, i have some videos of them on my channel if you're interested. Nice video!😀
