- Danggg so much McDonald's drama. All we wanted was our drinks we paid for. And then they didn't let the stranger get her meal that she paid for. What the heck McDonalds. It was the manager at the Mcdonalds near the Papa John's Cardinal Stadium in Louisville -_-

I worked there temporarily when I was 16 and it is against the rules to order in the drive through without a vehicle due to safety concerns and liability issues. Corporate policy forbids waiting on customers who walk up to the drive-thru window. However I understand your point of view. If the employee accepted your request they could’ve been fired. But when you got in the car I can’t explain.
The thing is they also almost stole their money she took the money and gave them nothing back until a diffrent employee came to the window it's the mangers fault and she should still be fired

Since I work fast food, I know that most restaurants with a drive through are either legally required or have a policy that does not allow for transactions to take place when someone walks up to the drive through and tries to make an order. It is a safety hazard for the employees of the establishment. Now, that being said, you can ask someone with a vehicle to place your order for you, and as long as they agree, you're all set.
Her taking the money then refusing to give the driver her order was definitely theft in my opinion. Either she refuses to take the money, and not hand out the order, or she accepts the money, and gives out the order.
