November and December in the Canadian Rockies near Exshaw, Canmore and Banff
The music is ok but I would rather hear the skaters skates on the ice.

How is the ice surface so clean?
The ice did not have any snow at the time. The conditions can be great when the weather gets cold enough to freeze the lakes and before snow precipitation.
How thick was it?
15 cm or so was frozen edge to edge that time
