Great video. These type of sled pulls are my favorite. Big money trucks are entertaining as well, but I prefer watching ones like these that I could realistically afford to build. Are there tractors at your events too or is it strictly trucks?
Thank you GiggleBox2004! It is a good time. Most of the events do have tractor classes as well, but I only record the truck classes. "Illinois Hot Farm Stock Pullers Association" is at a lot of the events that we attend. They have videos on UA-cam as well.
I know Im asking the wrong place but does anybody know of a trick to log back into an instagram account? I stupidly forgot the login password. I love any tips you can give me!
@Lochlan Ira Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Central Illinois Truck Pullers I like the run what you brung classes. The working non high dollar type pullers. The high dollar pullers are cool tho. Pulling is just fun
2WD son you heard and saw an engine do it's job around 7k-8500 rpm and stay there. (one of my fav eng sounds is 2wd pull and l'm 42 so l saw good shit with mom and dad) 4WD stock son you heard but mainly saw how strong the drivetrain can be. 4WD mod son that's what alcohol and blowers are for Didn't watch to see but blown injected alky monster trucks... can't mess with that.
IFS is scary to watch.. wonder if setting the toe out a bit would help ?... high hp fwd cars deal with the same thing an set toe to counter the inward pull.
That track is terrible. It's short with no overshoot area and the sled is hanging out over the back of the dirt at the start causing them to bounce and break stuff.
is just me or is that weight rising alittle to fast ? i know the track is short just seem's the sled drive is lifting the sled an slaming it back down , maybe due to the very un packed dirt at the start idk, maybe the sled is sticking idk
Thanks for taking the time to film and edit!
Thank you for watching 2000chevy4x4!
These are so much more fun to watch than the unlimited money machines
look into vintage racing, the cars are rare so crashing is a big no no and only very skilled people dare, its fun to watch
Absolutely agree man...just keeps it real right?like Friday night street racing at the local drag strip.

Mike's truck is awesome
Great video
Those Ttb suspensions are flexing💪
that rear end bounce is a real PITA
I pull in Ohio and enjoy watching county pulls from other places to compare the competition.
Where at in Ohio?

Thanks for a great video
Thank you for watching Scott!
You are so welcome
it's conclusive;....having your Dodge tow mirrors tipped out in Bullwinkle mode, may improve pulling distances....hmmm
Sad thing is IPA doesn't really have any pills this year. Almost all of the IPA pull have been canceled
Just all American trucks 🇺🇸
Anyone else see the lil bird crossing at 8:31 lol
Great video 👍👍
Thank you Joseph!

Central Illinois Truck Pullers no problem
Thanks for the vidjayo
Thank you for watching Jason.
8:34 can we just gice this bird credit for the biggest balls there to be on track lol
No because at 12:15 Joe Dirt holds that title.
That second truck needs some new tie rods
Lol
All the gm tucks will need new tie rods after this. Watch the front tires of every gm truck
@@zacharylunn6209 yep, poor design.
Helmets optional haha love it
went to a small one in Georgetown during the summer.

Not bad for a V6...
Great video?
Every single chevys/gmc wheels just bow in
my boyfriend and I love watching the tractor pulls
whats making sparks under the trucks? clutches?
that's a pretty nasty hole they park the sled in. Makes getting things moving kinda tough.
What's with all the chevy / gm front tires turning in so much
all these cute little gassers.
Some of those little gasser's pull more then your big Diesel's
Damn chevy daaaaaaaaaaamn 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
What happens if you put big tire slicks and go down a 1/8th mile 🤘🤘🤘
Nice
Man the toe in on all those IFS chevys is so bad.
When y’all coming to Dewitt county
17:30 They see me rolling, they hating
Best
I think reducing tire pressure would help increasing stability!
Nothing but bad ass trucks
Chevy frames seem weak behind the cab. They are all bending pretty good as they pass by.
Man watching those tie rod ends flex on that 1/2 ton daily driver box body chevy hurt to watch

Jeff Buerk Bad Ass Go Ford
At min 12:40 the truck sounded like it was misfiring.
Woooooooooo!
i thought for sure the second guys tie rods were gonna snap lolll
Got some craters there at the start.
8:24 broke a rear gear im guessing
I love super stock 4wd trucks
From 14:36
The bird at 8.37 isnt scared....

I wanna know about mike dirksens engine build that thing was mean
It really is Jake! Mike "Keystone" Dirksen likes to have some fun on the track.

14:40 that’s a bad sob

U can tell all the trucks that dont have traction bars. They r jumping all over the place.
Teach me how to chevy
Sled driver lets certain trucks eat more at the start.
14:35
12.54 just made a bunch of racket 🤣 hardly any powa
U can really tell the difference between gm and ford lol the gms have a real hard time pulling 😂😂
is just me or is that weight rising alittle to fast ? i know the track is short just seem's the sled drive is lifting the sled an slaming it back down , maybe due to the very un packed dirt at the start idk, maybe the sled is sticking idk
gundorethemighty Speed of sled is adjusted to stop the top trucks before the track runs out.
Unlike chevys fords are made to work hard and pull hard!
Ls power
Not too far from my hometown. I hate illinois though. Glad i left that liberal state
They may be built Ford Tough but they cant pull worth a shit...ooops l stand corrected
That Detriot swapped superduty though!
