I have an idea for a 19 year old teen mom and student. She has recently moved in to be closer to her school. Her parents bought her the aparment as she is very busy with school and taking care of her 5 month old daughter, and dosent have time for a job. She is a very quiet person and likes to keep things clean and simple, even if that means prioritizing that over sleep and healthy food. Most nights end up with a cup of noodles and homework at the computer. Hope you consider her for one of your appartements, and like her story. Im so glad your back to making videos!❤
I think it would be really cool if polar opposites were roommates! Like one is messy and the other one is a neat freak. The messy one is very nice and always has friends over. The clean one is snobbish and is introverted. The clean one likes more “nerdy” things and the messy one likes more “trendy” things. I would really like to see you do that!

She has 3 part time jobs just to pay for her apartment, she’s has a y2k style, loves soccer and wants a dog 🐕 but can’t afford it, Tara tries her best and feels like she made the wrong decision leaving home. She uses art and music as an escape and often feels guilty for leaving her sibling without saying goodbye. Aliyah is 22 love’s cats and pink, she has 1 job at a nearby restaurant, loves to cook, and honestly is just the definition of a girly girl. She started college but realized it wasn’t for her, she wants to own a business, crochets, has a kitten. Again I’m so happy your back Panda❤❤❤
this seems so interesting. if they were both messy since their lives were so busy, it would be a nice touch of detail to see how both of them living together would look (ex: a notebook/ball of yarn on the couch, and a soccer ball/cheetah print bag at the door) very creative! hope it happens
My character is a freshman college student by the name of Ellie (19), who's doing an exchange type program and traveling all over asia and europe. She's currently in Japan for a few months as it's one of her dream destinations, unfortunatley though she had to leave paris where she had met the love of her life and is quite depressed over that because he wouldn't keep a relationship long distance, and because of that she's kept her apartment really messy and kept a lot to herself not really engaging in new relationships and friendships. She also had begun to feel homesick longing for her home back in Canada which is reflected in the decor of the appartement. Btw, I'm so glad your back Panda, I've missed your videosss!!! ❤❤
Submission for the rent an apartment: two American foreigners (a single dad, and his toddler son) moved to Japan to get away from the dads toxic ex wife! The dad doesn’t know Japanese and takes a lot of lessons on Duolingo so he can communicate with the locals! The son is very fussy but LOVES Joanna the knight! He watched the show all the time in the USA but sadly the dub hasn’t come out in Japan. So instead, his dad got him the ‘Joanna the knight’ book and toys off amazon! The dad works at home and still hasn’t unpacked his room, (even though it’s been almost two years since he moved in) the dad tries to get his son out of the house but it’s difficult since there isn’t much stuff that’s open to foreigners. (Hope this is good :D )

He absolutely loves to perform and the spotlight that comes with it. Since he was 12 he became a trainee under a fairly large entertainment company and started training to be an idol. However, even after training for nearly 7 years he hasn't debuted yet. But he'd been hearing a few rumors that his company is planning to debut a boy group, so he has hope he'll debut in the next group. He is typically seen wearing clothes that are casual but elegant clothing, and has a few floral hairpins and silver jewelry for accessories. Ethan also works 2 part-time jobs along with being a trainee. He works at the convenience store near his apartment, and also works as a delivery driver for uber. He's quite a laidback person, and has only 1 or two friends who he sometimes invites back to his house to hang out. While he's relaxing, Ethan typically wraps himself up in his blankets and watches some of his favorite streamers on youtube.

She had a roommate for a few years but then the roommate moved to school dorms, so now she just lives alone. She works at a Manga and Boba shop. She's an artist and loves watching anime or reading manga because of the art style and plot. While she listens to music a lot, it's usually just with her earbuds. She is still in school, but does a lot of her work online, with some of her classes being in person. She does have a lot of anime merch that she got from her work, and ever since her roommate moved out, she's taken it as the opprotunity to have more space for her fan memorobilia

Panda, I really missed your building videos, I’m so happy you’re back. Well, here’s my character: a 19-year-old boy named Miguel. He grew up in a small town in Brazil but has always dreamed of living in Japan since he was a child. At 18, Miguel finally earned a scholarship to study in Japan at the beginning of the year, thanks to his academic performance, and he moved there in the middle of the year. Miguel is affectionate, laid-back, and cheerful. He’s also very clingy and loves physical contact, which caused some misunderstandings when he first moved, as he used to greet people with a kiss on the cheek, just like most Brazilians do. Despite that, Miguel has since adapted to the Japanese style, but he still keeps his cute way of greeting close friends. He’s been living in his apartment for a few months now and often invites friends over to visit his place. Every Sunday, he goes to the 7-11 to restock his home. In his living room, there’s a Brazilian flag with several names written on it, and his bedroom is a little messy.
Taro's new life in Tokyo was quiet and different from his old one in the countryside. Mornings were spent in his small room before walking to school through busy streets. The city felt loud and fast, and he often felt out of place. After school, he would wander to a nearby park or visit the rooftop garden, where he met a girl who taught him to care for the flowers. On weekends, he’d draw pictures of the mountains in his notebook, longing for the peace of his old home. Life was different, but Taro was starting to find small moments of calm in the city. She's..not really close with her paternal and maternal family, in fact she hates them! Her parents passed when she was young and no one took her in except for her ostracised auntie, who loved and took care of her. After her auntie passed (right after her graduation too, ouch!) her auntie left her her entire small fortune. At this age Karmine could access her parents' wealth too...which means greedy relatives- Karmine decided to cut off all contact with her relatives and move to Japan to work for about a year or 2 before studying again. Hobbies: She does photography too and she loves to read, which means most of her money is spent on books! She is also an aspiring author and currently runs her own vlog of writing advice and her daily life as a foreigner in Japan. She works as a barista as well as editing other people's stories for a living while also learning how to invest with her late aunt's financial manager. She loves to shop for fashion and her aesthetic is like milk! She continues to take up self defence classes and work on her physique and is currently taking Japanese lessons. She enjoys meeting new people and is very talkative but loves herself some me time to recharge. She does suffer from loneliness because she is in a country far away from home as well as impostor syndrome. Good thing that she has her friends to rely on (online and back at USA) She can cook a bit, but is terrified at the thought of burning or hurting herself when cooking, so she often cooks simple meals. She tried to bake brownies once, and it somehow took her an entire day. She's also a bit of a lovesick girl, wishing she could be swept in those Kdrama love stories and romance books she loves to read and watch. Since she loves to read and write, I imagine her to be a very creative and imaginative person. Hopefully her dream job will cover that. Her home would most likely be filled with bookshelves of books and figurines of her favourite anime! I would say she is a pretty tidy person too, but expect some kind of mess when it comes to books! Glad you're back! Idea for the apartment: A single mother with a baby/toddler and a foreign exchange student. The foreign exchange student agreed to attend school in Japan, as they are half Japanese. They know the single mom as she is a family friend they have met a couple times when they’ve been to Japan. The single mom agreed to host the student because she wants to understand how to take care of a high school student and how to be prepared for when her baby grows up. The single mom works mainly night shifts at a restaurant/store and she has the student look after the baby during the night. The student tries their best to take care of their host and their family, by doing chores, doing the laundry, and grabbing groceries for them. This is partially why they don’t have a lot of social interactions with any of the other students at their school. One room could be for the student and the other for the mother and child.

Its so nice to have you back, I really missed you!! So I made a story for a character. Michelle is a 19 year old student from New York, studying far abroad in Japan. She is a socially awkward girl, who is quite introverted and anxious. But incredibly outgoing and fun once you get to know her! Despite that she has no friends… She started learning Japanese in middle school, and as a result she has become pretty fluent. Her parents said they would pay for her apartment for the first few months, but if she couldn’t afford it by the end of that she would have to find a solution herself. So she got herself a job, although minimum wage. She tries her best to work for enough, but ends up not having time for herself because of it. Because outside of school all she does is, work, homework, and repeat. She enjoys cooking, it’s like her little escape from the pressures of her day to day life, she often cooks quite time consuming dinners whilst listening to her favorite songs.

So they moved with a family friend! The student is around 16 to 17. So they can take care of themselves! And they work at the 7/11 for money to pay for their school! As the family friend pays the rent! And the father works at the restaurant! And the kid secretly have a cat in their room? Uh oh! And the Student is a very clean person! As their parents used to be clean freaks! And the student normally clean the apartment and takes care of his (step??) fathers toddler while he’s at work!

For one of the two-bedroom apartments, it should be the home of two siblings. An older brother who is into art and literature-who struggles to balance his hobbies, work and take care of his younger brother. His overall color scheme is neutral and earthy colors. The younger brother is into rocket ships, hironos and is a tinkerer (which is why their apartment is a bit messy). His favorite color is green. The two were orphaned due to an accident. They struggle to pay for their apartment fees, and are often kicked out of their previous homes due to that reason, except for this one. The older brother works somewhere in the neighborhood, while the younger brother goes to a small public school.

I have an idea for a maybe 18-19 year old girl who suffers from Asburgers syndrome (or high functioning autism). She struggles socially and doesnt have any friends apart from her dog. Her current hyperfixation is Harry Potter. She really struggled at school due to it being social, loud and stressful. She likes everything to be neat and tidy in her mind and every little thing has its own space, even if it means her apartment looks messy to other people. She does not know how to furnish things correctly, just decorate, so all of her furniture are from her childhood home and were handed down to her by her parents. I really hope you consider adding her into your apartment. Ive been a fan for so long and I was acctually rewatching all of the panda builds episodes last night and I am currently making a Lavender Lane inspired bloxburg build. (Me and my friend also build all of maple street when those videos first released)
CHARACTER BACKSTORY: damian is a fresh out of college, messy guy who rlly has no idea what to do with himself. after he finished college in america, his friends all moved to a different corner of the world (canada, south africa, uae and finland) and damian was left in boston away from his family who live all the way back in slovakia. he sells his apartment in boston and packs his bags, 2 exactly. with his 2 bags he leaves for japan in hope of finding a new place and starting a new life. he finds a small apartment to rent in a quiet location, 20 minutes away from the big city; Midorihama Ekimae Dori. the small apartment is located right by a 7 eleven and is cheap to rent out. once he arrives in Midorihama, he finds a very clean, tidy and neat place. however after unpacking and having a job where he works **10 hours a day** at the local supermarket, he has no time for himself. his schedule is all over the place, and the apartment quickly becomes messy. the apartment is almost clean, but there is many stuff all over the place. he is now considering leaving his job at 7 eleven, and instead working from home or in the big city. he is tired of being overworked and is slowly regretting moving to japan.

Heylo Panda before I say my characters, personally your building is style is still amazing so you don't even have to worry about that! NOW ONTO MY CHARACTERS --> #1, We have the Witchy-ish character who has a more gothic style mixed with a little y2k, she has many different mangas ranging from action to romance. She also has many different posters of what she watches as well as crystals for her witchy vibe. She moved in with her childhood friend (who so happens to also be her crush??) / She is majoring in an art school for digital art || #2, We have a peppy character, she has a more of an streetish/peppy style clothing as she is a plant mother, she LOVES the colours pink and green and CANNOT choose between them. Her style represents both of the colours she likes and depending on how she feels, many different clothes varying in the two styles & favourite colours. Her room is a messy one as she is currently going through fashion school, she has a board with designs as well as clothing she has made herself, there is also many hairties everywhere for her infamous pigtail style she rocks. When you look in her room you see her bed first being green & pink pillows & blankets completed with stuffies, surrounding it being her fashion designs along with some plants. She is a BIG ally to the LGBTQ+ community but doesn't align with anything (or does she???) || ANYWAYS those are my characters LOVED the video & building 10/10
My charter is a teen who lives with her single mother and little brother who is like 2-3 years old. Her mother just lost her job, and moved there because rent was way cheaper than their original home and because she got a job nearby. And She just had her boyfriend of 3 years break up with her for her ex best friend and not she is getting over that plus she got a part time job at wherever her mother worked to help pay the bills. There house isn’t too messy, it’s just kinda lived in and a little cluttered. She shares a room with her brother and her mother pretty much moved them there so they could have a fresh start. 😅that’s kinda a lot sorry. Thank your for reading this if you do. Their parents died when the girl was 17 and her sister was 12 and now the girl is now in college while the sister starting her first day of high school! Their Parents used to own the little store so the two sisters owns to little store that they got from there parents , they are really sweet to the people in this little town they always have but the question , What even happened to their parents and how did they even die? The two sisters our always avoiding the question so what even happened ( btw they can easily replace the younger sister as a toddler or a baby )
So for the apartment concept, I was thinking my oc could live there, Celeste (you can keep her name unknown), an 18 year old, about to enter her first year of college, she's a very antisocial and introverted person and decided that in order to change that, she should move into her dream country, Japan. As for the apartment's whole aspect, I see my oc as a big procrastinator, the only place she keeps tidy is her desk cause she's an artist! She has paint stored in almost every single drawer of her desk, a bunch of markers and art supplies, she also likes baking! And often bakes things like cookies, brownies and cakes! She deals with big anxiety, fear of failing exams in college, fear of the deadlines of her assignements coming, also gets anxiety when leaving her house, and gets overstimulated easily but she keeps doing efforts of trying to stay organized and try to get rid of her anxiety and to do so, she makes sure to spend time with her friends and live out her 'teenage' dreams, she likes having sleepovers and invites a her besties over! ^^, her apartment would be full of white, baby blue and baby pink, and has a lot of different lamps scattered around her apartment since she prefers to have blue light instead of the basic white/yellow light that burns your eyes, she also indulged in skincare and journaling to help with her mental health!

He wanted to travel the world as an 'upcoming' (artist, musician, or actor.) He ended up getting scammed while booking train tickets to head into (made up city) a city he's always seen on his social media. He ended up coming here! It wasn't what he was expecting but it was nice and cozy. Definitely not a city... He was heading to the apartment he looked up online while sitting on the train. He ended up tripping over on the way there, he ended up getting lost... his work materials scattered across the road and unfortunately their not in one piece! He found out he didnt trip over a rock like he expected, it was a dog?! He ended up finding the apartment and felt like an idiot, it was right outside the subway! He actually snuck the dog inside the apartment with his jacket. The apartment is now covered in muddy paw prints... atleast the dogs quiet! (I DONT KNOW IF THIS IS A BIT TOO MUCH DETAIL😢😢😢) He's bubberly and very clumsy with bad vision and he's not the cleanest... (He ended up calling the dog, Pipkin.)
welcome back panda!!! so glad you're back!!! you asking for character backstories made a switch in my brain go on! let me cook: heres my characters backstory! Chuyu is a freshly 20-year-old wondering where her path takes her in life. She had never truly felt motivated or connected to something that "could lead to a career" but oddly she's always felt a strong love for the arts. But of course, the pressure to seek approval from her parents, she dares not even consider arts as a career. Under the constant stress of uni, work, and overall, figuring out her life, she seeks out human connections. Chuyu is naturally a shy and quiet girl who kept to herself, as she was desperately seeking a deep human connection, there was such a radiant energy she always felt drawn to, Lexi who she had so much in common with. They both felt the pressures from their families to be successful, not knowing what to do with their lives, and loves the arts. There was one difference between them two though.. Lexi was unapologetically herself. Chuyu admired this part of Lexi. Lexi loved Chuyu's ability brutally honest. As two 20-year-old girls found each other in uni, they hit it off instantly. Both girls always expressed their loves for the arts, Lexi being a successful enough streamer to get herself though college, and Chuyu loving music, specifically alternative rock and metal, they decorated their apartment with posters of bands they both loved, a tv to play video games together with, and instruments and Lexi expressed she wanted to learn and Chuyu was happy to teach her (future plans to create a band(?)). The apartment being small, they've made it their home as they both felt like home with each other.
Here's my character, Ivanna Mann (hehe wordplay) a 60 - 70 something year old, who is a fairly successful individual, she is the younger sibling to Richard Mann, a former mayor in a nearby community. she's also well known for her podcasts and other well known talk shows, such as "living the life of a 60 something successful individual" or "how i became fairly successful in a matter of seconds and you can too!" personality wise she's very strict, and try's to pull the stings of those around her, trying to get everything to go her way,, especially on how she controls her step-son may ore (hehe more wordplay). she really only married may ores father for his wealth. she purchased this apartment more as a place to come to at the end of her day, as she doesn't like may ores father at all. (although that's probably self explanatory when your living in your own house as well as only marrying someone for his wealth haha.) she also try's to keep everything tidy, (if you split something,, your picking it up kind of way) Ivanna mostly just sits alone in her apartment each day, catching local news, eating a nicely baked salmon, or is writing the next draft to her podcast. i think she enjoys the sort of life? dont you?

Your building style is so beautiful and inclusive I love watching all the different cultures and places you build; Don’t feel feel bad if you’re still unfamiliar with build bc I am in the same boat as you and I can tell you ITS HARD! Motivation is not easy to come by and having the confidence to upload something when you’re basically starting over again is really impressive. After two sisters fresh out of college move to Japan from hearing about the good accommodations and beautiful scenery they are met with a big culture shock. They don’t know their way around or even what they really want to do in this new environment! They have moved into an apartment complex on the second floor of a nearby building where they spend most of their time trying out all the cool things Japan has to offer, clothes, music, foods, you name it! (OPTIONAL JUST A BUILD IDEA) The sisters, Jenny(23) and Jenna(21), have taken a liking to the clothing store nearby where they buy most of their clothes from and even Jenny has decided to apply for a job! The two girls have a hamster named Rat that they love dearly and often buy tiny outfits for. Little bit of info for each sis! Jenny: 23, likes shopping, has applied at a nearby store for income. Enjoys clothing of all kinds and has even taken a liking to sewing. She also has started writing a book about what it’s like to start off completely blindsided in a new country(idk if that’s the right word ;-;). Jenna: 21, Jenna is fresh from college so she’s still getting a hold on adulting, she’s taken inspiration from the nearby 7/11 when trying a traditional snack and has decided to learn how to cook Japanese food in her spare time. She enjoys playing music on a guitar, cooking, and streaming about her new interesting life in Japan. (SORRY IF I GOT ANYTHING WRONG OR OFFENDED ANYONE I WAS GOING OFF MY SMALL BRAIN OF KNOWLEDGE)

My character: Name: Vannessa Age: 22 She lives by herself and is a writer! She has one published book but is trying to write another. She is very clean and doesn’t have many friends, except for two which are her besties and stay over almost twice a week. She just went through a breakup, but is handling it well because she was over it like six months into their relationship (it lasted a year). She is a very neat person, always making sure her spaces are tidy. She spends most of her free time on Pinterest or the aesthetic side of UA-cam, looking for ways to spruce up her apartment!

She affords rent by working at the 711 next door. Both of her parents died and she does not know it yet as they have cut off contact with her when she moved. Akari has a street style vibe with lots of Baggy jeans and hats and cute braids. The other bedroom goes to her roommate Hina who is also very poor and has a 1 year old daughter who shares the room with her but she has great fashion taste and like a coquette style with lots of pink. a idea for apartment: girl that ran away from her abusive parents and went to go to live with a grandma figure she has (shes not her grandma, she met her while on the street, the grandma figure offered her to live there) the grandma was very nice but sadly a few years earlier her son had died, so she kind of sees that girl like her son

An elder lady whose main form of transportation is their wheelchair. Making the elevator for the complex is mwah~👩🍳! She has a somewhat homey apartment, since she's resided within the building for some time. Due to her long residency at this hotspot location, she's able to converse with the expats who dwell in the complex fairly well- and becomes something like a grandmother in the community 🥰 Overall, just a very social-able elder lady who has family that have departed from Japan and hardly have the chance to visit as often and she's just become a pillar of the community😂
For my apartment: I like a clean apartment. My favorite color is pink. Any pink colors is fine. I don’t usually have friends over because I like my house/apartment quiet. I love cats. Okay, that’s all for my apartment application. BTW, I love the build!

They live in a small, run-down apartment and live a humble yet comfortable life. Though, their daughter, Mai, thinks her life is lacking. Not only does she think her life is boring, but knows that her parents need more money to support their life-style(you'll see why later). The reason why her parents can't afford a lavish apartment despite earning a little more than enough to have one, is because of their daughter's school tuition. Their daughter, Mai, goes to a prestigious high school uptown. This school has many programs, including an exchange program. Mai, who thinks this would be the perfect solution to all her problems, BEGS her parents to allow her to sign up. Fortunately for Mai, they say yes. And what-do-ya-know, she gets selected to house an exchange student from France. A month or so later, Mai's new exchange roomie and possibly new best-friend arrives at their small apartment. Now, Mai has a new companion in the household, while her parents have a new mouth to feed. if the french exchange student has her own room, you can decorate her walls with polaroids of Paris, the flag of France, and more decor regarding France. On the other hand, Mai is a j-pop/k-pop enthusiast with posters of idols all over her walls. Mai's parents, specifically her dad, is a die-hard patriot for Japan. He was in the military and served in Japan for many years. There is a Japanese flag on the wall right in their living room, with a bunch of paintings and decor regarding war, or whatever. So basically there's a clear division in style between the rest of the house and Mai and the French Student's room. Submission 2: Cat Grandma. Fur everywhere. Idea for the first apartment!! A 18 year old girl trying to start a new life because her parents don't support her dreams of being a music producer. Right now, she's working in that Seven Eleven to gain money for the equipment she needs to start making music. Being alone is hard for her since she grew up around 3 siblings, who did want her dreams to come true but she had to go no contact due to her parents probably finding out where is and get her back living with them. The reason they don't support her dreams because they want to marry her off to some rich dude for the money but GIRLPOWER RULES! She's very social, energetic and a bit noisy due to her editing her unreleased songs on her phone. But atleast she knows people love her songs because when she moved into her new collage, she joined a band (two boys and three girls including her.) Circe is a 19 year old girl from France, her whole life she loves music and so she went to Japan to persue in her study and carreer in Music and Dance. She loves playing the piano but she couldn't afford one for in Japan, for that reason she uses an online piano. Circe prefers to study at night while blasting the Kpop music from her phone. She loves to make noodles she buys from the near convinience store and add extra vegetables. She's a hygienic person who loves a clean appartement but she usually doesn't have time to clean. I have an idea for a character!! There is a family of 4, the mom (Vanessa) the Dad (Jorden) a toddler girl (Stella) and a moody teenage boy (Josiah). they’re dad works 2 jobs and he is very busy all of the time trying to make enough money for his family. The two kids share a bedroom, it gets very cramped and messy since they have a lot of stuff. They’re mom works at home so she is on her computer a lot, she loves to garden so she has many plants everywhere especially on the balcony. the little girl likes to make many messes so they’re house is very messy with toys ALL the time. And the teenage boy LOVES anime so he has many action figures and posters of many Anime characters, he stays in his room a lot and pretty much just lives off of microwave noodles(i hope this story made sense😅 I absolutely love the builds so far and excited to see the next video and see what you make next! 💗)

my character: a foreign exchange college student from america! he always goes for a cozy style of decoration. he’s made a good group of friends while in japan and has gotten particularly close to one guy in particular, if you’re catching my drift. he loves incorporating his favorite color (a sort of blueish green like my profile picture) into his apartment. he also makes youtube videos, so maybe the second bedroom could be an office! he lives alone but has friends over often edit: that trend idea at the end. That's why I think she should have the second floor as well keep in mind she does have a sowing machine because she makes most of her clothing! She goes to fashion classes about 2 times a week and is almost always studying fashion but wishes for more. Her parents bought her the aparment as she is very busy with school and taking care of her 5 month old daughter, and dosent have time for a job. She is a very quiet person and likes to keep things clean and simple, even if that means prioritizing that over sleep and healthy food. Most nights end up with a cup of noodles and homework at the computer. Hope you consider her for one of your appartements, and like her story. Im so glad your back to making videos!❤

She has 3 part time jobs just to pay for her apartment, she’s has a y2k style, loves soccer and wants a dog 🐕 but can’t afford it, Tara tries her best and feels like she made the wrong decision leaving home. She uses art and music as an escape and often feels guilty for leaving her sibling without saying goodbye.
Aliyah is 22 love’s cats and pink, she has 1 job at a nearby restaurant, loves to cook, and honestly is just the definition of a girly girl. She started college but realized it wasn’t for her, she wants to own a business, crochets, has a kitten.

My character is a freshman college student by the name of Ellie (19), who's doing an exchange type program and traveling all over asia and europe. She's currently in Japan for a few months as it's one of her dream destinations, unfortunatley though she had to leave paris where she had met the love of her life and is quite depressed over that because he wouldn't keep a relationship long distance, and because of that she's kept her apartment really messy and kept a lot to herself not really engaging in new relationships and friendships. She also had begun to feel homesick longing for her home back in Canada which is reflected in the decor of the appartement.

Submission for the rent an apartment: two American foreigners (a single dad, and his toddler son) moved to Japan to get away from the dads toxic ex wife! The dad doesn’t know Japanese and takes a lot of lessons on Duolingo so he can communicate with the locals! The son is very fussy but LOVES Joanna the knight! He watched the show all the time in the USA but sadly the dub hasn’t come out in Japan. So instead, his dad got him the ‘Joanna the knight’ book and toys off amazon! The dad works at home and still hasn’t unpacked his room, (even though it’s been almost two years since he moved in) the dad tries to get his son out of the house but it’s difficult since there isn’t much stuff that’s open to foreigners.

okay, so for my OC background:
Ethan is a 19 year old boy who moved to Japan from France with his family when he was 9 years old. He absolutely loves to perform and the spotlight that comes with it. Since he was 12 he became a trainee under a fairly large entertainment company and started training to be an idol. However, even after training for nearly 7 years he hasn't debuted yet. But he'd been hearing a few rumors that his company is planning to debut a boy group, so he has hope he'll debut in the next group.
He is typically seen wearing clothes that are casual but elegant clothing, and has a few floral hairpins and silver jewelry for accessories. Ethan also works 2 part-time jobs along with being a trainee. He works at the convenience store near his apartment, and also works as a delivery driver for uber.
He's quite a laidback person, and has only 1 or two friends who he sometimes invites back to his house to hang out. While he's relaxing, Ethan typically wraps himself up in his blankets and watches some of his favorite streamers on youtube.

Sloth is a 16 year old teenager, she left her family home just to get a space of her own. She had a roommate for a few years but then the roommate moved to school dorms, so now she just lives alone. She works at a Manga and Boba shop. She's an artist and loves watching anime or reading manga because of the art style and plot. While she listens to music a lot, it's usually just with her earbuds. She is still in school, but does a lot of her work online, with some of her classes being in person. She does have a lot of anime merch that she got from her work, and ever since her roommate moved out, she's taken it as the opprotunity to have more space for her fan memorobilia
A single mom with a passion for fashion! Her dream is to be a fashion designer and she’s in school to make that happen. She has a son who loves his mom and dinosaurs lol.

Well, here’s my character: a 19-year-old boy named Miguel. He grew up in a small town in Brazil but has always dreamed of living in Japan since he was a child. At 18, Miguel finally earned a scholarship to study in Japan at the beginning of the year, thanks to his academic performance, and he moved there in the middle of the year. Miguel is affectionate, laid-back, and cheerful. He’s also very clingy and loves physical contact, which caused some misunderstandings when he first moved, as he used to greet people with a kiss on the cheek, just like most Brazilians do. Despite that, Miguel has since adapted to the Japanese style, but he still keeps his cute way of greeting close friends.
He’s been living in his apartment for a few months now and often invites friends over to visit his place. Every Sunday, he goes to the 7-11 to restock his home. In his living room, there’s a Brazilian flag with several names written on it, and his bedroom is a little messy.

Taro's new life in Tokyo was quiet and different from his old one in the countryside. Mornings were spent in his small room before walking to school through busy streets. The city felt loud and fast, and he often felt out of place.
After school, he would wander to a nearby park or visit the rooftop garden, where he met a girl who taught him to care for the flowers. On weekends, he’d draw pictures of the mountains in his notebook, longing for the peace of his old home.
Life was different, but Taro was starting to find small moments of calm in the city.

OC backstory: Karmine is an 18 year old who had just graduated from her high school in the USA. She's..not really close with her paternal and maternal family, in fact she hates them! Her parents passed when she was young and no one took her in except for her ostracised auntie, who loved and took care of her.
After her auntie passed (right after her graduation too, ouch!) her auntie left her her entire small fortune. At this age Karmine could access her parents' wealth too...which means greedy relatives-
Karmine decided to cut off all contact with her relatives and move to Japan to work for about a year or 2 before studying again.
Hobbies: She does photography too and she loves to read, which means most of her money is spent on books! She is also an aspiring author and currently runs her own vlog of writing advice and her daily life as a foreigner in Japan. She works as a barista as well as editing other people's stories for a living while also learning how to invest with her late aunt's financial manager. She loves to shop for fashion and her aesthetic is like milk! She continues to take up self defence classes and work on her physique and is currently taking Japanese lessons. She enjoys meeting new people and is very talkative but loves herself some me time to recharge.
She does suffer from loneliness because she is in a country far away from home as well as impostor syndrome. Good thing that she has her friends to rely on (online and back at USA) She can cook a bit, but is terrified at the thought of burning or hurting herself when cooking, so she often cooks simple meals. She tried to bake brownies once, and it somehow took her an entire day. She's also a bit of a lovesick girl, wishing she could be swept in those Kdrama love stories and romance books she loves to read and watch. Since she loves to read and write, I imagine her to be a very creative and imaginative person. Hopefully her dream job will cover that.
Her home would most likely be filled with bookshelves of books and figurines of her favourite anime! I would say she is a pretty tidy person too, but expect some kind of mess when it comes to books!

Glad you're back! Idea for the apartment: A single mother with a baby/toddler and a foreign exchange student. The foreign exchange student agreed to attend school in Japan, as they are half Japanese. They know the single mom as she is a family friend they have met a couple times when they’ve been to Japan. The single mom agreed to host the student because she wants to understand how to take care of a high school student and how to be prepared for when her baby grows up. The single mom works mainly night shifts at a restaurant/store and she has the student look after the baby during the night. The student tries their best to take care of their host and their family, by doing chores, doing the laundry, and grabbing groceries for them. This is partially why they don’t have a lot of social interactions with any of the other students at their school. One room could be for the student and the other for the mother and child.

So I made a story for a character. Michelle is a 19 year old student from New York, studying far abroad in Japan. She is a socially awkward girl, who is quite introverted and anxious. But incredibly outgoing and fun once you get to know her! Despite that she has no friends… She started learning Japanese in middle school, and as a result she has become pretty fluent. Her parents said they would pay for her apartment for the first few months, but if she couldn’t afford it by the end of that she would have to find a solution herself. So she got herself a job, although minimum wage. She tries her best to work for enough, but ends up not having time for herself because of it. Because outside of school all she does is, work, homework, and repeat. She enjoys cooking, it’s like her little escape from the pressures of her day to day life, she often cooks quite time consuming dinners whilst listening to her favorite songs.

Idea for the apartment, a foreign exchange student, withn the care of a single father and kid, the student moved there because tuition of theirs old school was to expensive! So they moved with a family friend! The student is around 16 to 17. So they can take care of themselves! And they work at the 7/11 for money to pay for their school! As the family friend pays the rent! And the father works at the restaurant! And the kid secretly have a cat in their room? Uh oh! And the Student is a very clean person! As their parents used to be clean freaks! And the student normally clean the apartment and takes care of his (step??) fathers toddler while he’s at work!
I’ve gotten back into Bloxburg due to a friend and omg this is giving me the motivation to build, but I actually need to get used to it after a few years

For one of the two-bedroom apartments, it should be the home of two siblings. An older brother who is into art and literature-who struggles to balance his hobbies, work and take care of his younger brother. His overall color scheme is neutral and earthy colors. The younger brother is into rocket ships, hironos and is a tinkerer (which is why their apartment is a bit messy). His favorite color is green. The two were orphaned due to an accident. They struggle to pay for their apartment fees, and are often kicked out of their previous homes due to that reason, except for this one. The older brother works somewhere in the neighborhood, while the younger brother goes to a small public school.

Estella isn’t used to being alone in the apartment so estella has friends around often to fill in that noise which usually end in a mess. She is a bubbly fun party girl however can be a homebody when needs to be (studying). Her style would be a minimal but cluttered with some boxes unpacked and some not as she hasn’t had the time ❤
I have an idea for a maybe 18-19 year old girl who suffers from Asburgers syndrome (or high functioning autism). She struggles socially and doesnt have any friends apart from her dog. Her current hyperfixation is Harry Potter. She really struggled at school due to it being social, loud and stressful. She likes everything to be neat and tidy in her mind and every little thing has its own space, even if it means her apartment looks messy to other people. She does not know how to furnish things correctly, just decorate, so all of her furniture are from her childhood home and were handed down to her by her parents.
I really hope you consider adding her into your apartment. Ive been a fan for so long and I was acctually rewatching all of the panda builds episodes last night and I am currently making a Lavender Lane inspired bloxburg build. (Me and my friend also build all of maple street when those videos first released)
CHARACTER BACKSTORY:
damian is a fresh out of college, messy guy who rlly has no idea what to do with himself. after he finished college in america, his friends all moved to a different corner of the world (canada, south africa, uae and finland) and damian was left in boston away from his family who live all the way back in slovakia. he sells his apartment in boston and packs his bags, 2 exactly. with his 2 bags he leaves for japan in hope of finding a new place and starting a new life. he finds a small apartment to rent in a quiet location, 20 minutes away from the big city; Midorihama Ekimae Dori. the small apartment is located right by a 7 eleven and is cheap to rent out. once he arrives in Midorihama, he finds a very clean, tidy and neat place. however after unpacking and having a job where he works **10 hours a day** at the local supermarket, he has no time for himself. his schedule is all over the place, and the apartment quickly becomes messy. the apartment is almost clean, but there is many stuff all over the place. he is now considering leaving his job at 7 eleven, and instead working from home or in the big city. he is tired of being overworked and is slowly regretting moving to japan.

Heylo Panda before I say my characters, personally your building is style is still amazing so you don't even have to worry about that! NOW ONTO MY CHARACTERS --> #1, We have the Witchy-ish character who has a more gothic style mixed with a little y2k, she has many different mangas ranging from action to romance. She also has many different posters of what she watches as well as crystals for her witchy vibe. She moved in with her childhood friend (who so happens to also be her crush??) / She is majoring in an art school for digital art || #2, We have a peppy character, she has a more of an streetish/peppy style clothing as she is a plant mother, she LOVES the colours pink and green and CANNOT choose between them. Her style represents both of the colours she likes and depending on how she feels, many different clothes varying in the two styles & favourite colours. Her room is a messy one as she is currently going through fashion school, she has a board with designs as well as clothing she has made herself, there is also many hairties everywhere for her infamous pigtail style she rocks. When you look in her room you see her bed first being green & pink pillows & blankets completed with stuffies, surrounding it being her fashion designs along with some plants. She is a BIG ally to the LGBTQ+ community but doesn't align with anything (or does she???) || ANYWAYS those are my characters LOVED the video & building 10/10

My charter is a teen who lives with her single mother and little brother who is like 2-3 years old. Her mother just lost her job, and moved there because rent was way cheaper than their original home and because she got a job nearby. And She just had her boyfriend of 3 years break up with her for her ex best friend and not she is getting over that plus she got a part time job at wherever her mother worked to help pay the bills. There house isn’t too messy, it’s just kinda lived in and a little cluttered. She shares a room with her brother and her mother pretty much moved them there so they could have a fresh start.

Their parents died when the girl was 17 and her sister was 12 and now the girl is now in college while the sister starting her first day of high school! Their Parents used to own the little store so the two sisters owns to little store that they got from there parents , they are really sweet to the people in this little town they always have but the question , What even happened to their parents and how did they even die? The two sisters our always avoiding the question so what even happened ( btw they can easily replace the younger sister as a toddler or a baby )
So for the apartment concept, I was thinking my oc could live there, Celeste (you can keep her name unknown), an 18 year old, about to enter her first year of college, she's a very antisocial and introverted person and decided that in order to change that, she should move into her dream country, Japan. As for the apartment's whole aspect, I see my oc as a big procrastinator, the only place she keeps tidy is her desk cause she's an artist! She has paint stored in almost every single drawer of her desk, a bunch of markers and art supplies, she also likes baking! And often bakes things like cookies, brownies and cakes! She deals with big anxiety, fear of failing exams in college, fear of the deadlines of her assignements coming, also gets anxiety when leaving her house, and gets overstimulated easily but she keeps doing efforts of trying to stay organized and try to get rid of her anxiety and to do so, she makes sure to spend time with her friends and live out her 'teenage' dreams, she likes having sleepovers and invites a her besties over! ^^, her apartment would be full of white, baby blue and baby pink, and has a lot of different lamps scattered around her apartment since she prefers to have blue light instead of the basic white/yellow light that burns your eyes, she also indulged in skincare and journaling to help with her mental health!

Tariò is a 21 year old trans male. He wanted to travel the world as an 'upcoming' (artist, musician, or actor.) He ended up getting scammed while booking train tickets to head into (made up city) a city he's always seen on his social media. He ended up coming here! It wasn't what he was expecting but it was nice and cozy. Definitely not a city...
He was heading to the apartment he looked up online while sitting on the train. He ended up tripping over on the way there, he ended up getting lost... his work materials scattered across the road and unfortunately their not in one piece! He found out he didnt trip over a rock like he expected, it was a dog?! He ended up finding the apartment and felt like an idiot, it was right outside the subway!
He actually snuck the dog inside the apartment with his jacket. The apartment is now covered in muddy paw prints... atleast the dogs quiet!

He's bubberly and very clumsy with bad vision and he's not the cleanest...

heres my characters backstory!
Chuyu is a freshly 20-year-old wondering where her path takes her in life. She had never truly felt motivated or connected to something that "could lead to a career" but oddly she's always felt a strong love for the arts. But of course, the pressure to seek approval from her parents, she dares not even consider arts as a career. Under the constant stress of uni, work, and overall, figuring out her life, she seeks out human connections. Chuyu is naturally a shy and quiet girl who kept to herself, as she was desperately seeking a deep human connection, there was such a radiant energy she always felt drawn to, Lexi who she had so much in common with.
They both felt the pressures from their families to be successful, not knowing what to do with their lives, and loves the arts. There was one difference between them two though.. Lexi was unapologetically herself. Chuyu admired this part of Lexi. Lexi loved Chuyu's ability brutally honest. As two 20-year-old girls found each other in uni, they hit it off instantly.
Both girls always expressed their loves for the arts, Lexi being a successful enough streamer to get herself though college, and Chuyu loving music, specifically alternative rock and metal, they decorated their apartment with posters of bands they both loved, a tv to play video games together with, and instruments and Lexi expressed she wanted to learn and Chuyu was happy to teach her (future plans to create a band(?)). The apartment being small, they've made it their home as they both felt like home with each other.

Ivanna Mann (hehe wordplay) a 60 - 70 something year old, who is a fairly successful individual, she is the younger sibling to Richard Mann, a former mayor in a nearby community. she's also well known for her podcasts and other well known talk shows, such as "living the life of a 60 something successful individual" or "how i became fairly successful in a matter of seconds and you can too!" personality wise she's very strict, and try's to pull the stings of those around her, trying to get everything to go her way,, especially on how she controls her step-son may ore (hehe more wordplay). she really only married may ores father for his wealth. she purchased this apartment more as a place to come to at the end of her day, as she doesn't like may ores father at all. (although that's probably self explanatory when your living in your own house as well as only marrying someone for his wealth haha.) she also try's to keep everything tidy, (if you split something,, your picking it up kind of way) Ivanna mostly just sits alone in her apartment each day, catching local news, eating a nicely baked salmon, or is writing the next draft to her podcast. i think she enjoys the sort of life? dont you?

Though her life feels chaotic, she finds solace in her beloved cat, her constant companion. Mary is an introvert who thrives on creativity, but her messy lifestyle reflects the emotional turbulence she’s experiencing. Music is her cherished hobby, serving as an emotional outlet and a way to express herself beyond her art. Despite the challenges, she is determined to find her footing again.

OK, So I’ve just finished the video and I have so much to say so bare with me!
First of all, PANDA!!! Your building style is so beautiful and inclusive I love watching all the different cultures and places you build; Don’t feel feel bad if you’re still unfamiliar with build bc I am in the same boat as you and I can tell you ITS HARD! Motivation is not easy to come by and having the confidence to upload something when you’re basically starting over again is really impressive. Take your time because true fans don’t mind hanging around while the artist takes a break or gets back into the swing of things. And most importantly, LOVE YOU LOTS PANDA!!! Thank you SO much for your time and effort!!

After two sisters fresh out of college move to Japan from hearing about the good accommodations and beautiful scenery they are met with a big culture shock. They don’t know their way around or even what they really want to do in this new environment! They have moved into an apartment complex on the second floor of a nearby building where they spend most of their time trying out all the cool things Japan has to offer, clothes, music, foods, you name it!

The sisters, Jenny(23) and Jenna(21), have taken a liking to the clothing store nearby where they buy most of their clothes from and even Jenny has decided to apply for a job! The two girls have a hamster named Rat that they love dearly and often buy tiny outfits for.
Little bit of info for each sis!
Jenny: 23, likes shopping, has applied at a nearby store for income. Enjoys clothing of all kinds and has even taken a liking to sewing. She also has started writing a book about what it’s like to start off completely blindsided in a new country(idk if that’s the right word ;-;).
Jenna: 21, Jenna is fresh from college so she’s still getting a hold on adulting, she’s taken inspiration from the nearby 7/11 when trying a traditional snack and has decided to learn how to cook Japanese food in her spare time. She enjoys playing music on a guitar, cooking, and streaming about her new interesting life in Japan.

She lives by herself and is a writer! She has one published book but is trying to write another. She is very clean and doesn’t have many friends, except for two which are her besties and stay over almost twice a week. She just went through a breakup, but is handling it well because she was over it like six months into their relationship (it lasted a year). She is a very neat person, always making sure her spaces are tidy. She spends most of her free time on Pinterest or the aesthetic side of UA-cam, looking for ways to spruce up her apartment!
10:29 Well if it was my apartment I’d love it to be morden and clean and have a light blue colour and for a room I also like preppy and I like plants! And a story for the character: Ivy just started college moved to Japan alone her dreams to travel the world but she’s terrible at school, every minute she gets she films videos to become a preppy skincare influencer!
I still use dvds too! I have a small collection of childhood favourites, I’ve got all the studio ghibli films that I got one Christmas and Labyrinth from 1986 and more.

My idea is a girl Akari(17) who moved from South Africa for school as she got a scholarship and could not afford it otherwise. She affords rent by working at the 711 next door. Both of her parents died and she does not know it yet as they have cut off contact with her when she moved. Akari has a street style vibe with lots of Baggy jeans and hats and cute braids.
The other bedroom goes to her roommate Hina who is also very poor and has a 1 year old daughter who shares the room with her but she has great fashion taste and like a coquette style with lots of pink.

a idea for apartment: girl that ran away from her abusive parents and went to go to live with a grandma figure she has (shes not her grandma, she met her while on the street, the grandma figure offered her to live there) the grandma was very nice but sadly a few years earlier her son had died, so she kind of sees that girl like her son

An elder lady whose main form of transportation is their wheelchair. Making the elevator for the complex is mwah~👩🍳!
She has a somewhat homey apartment, since she's resided within the building for some time. Due to her long residency at this hotspot location, she's able to converse with the expats who dwell in the complex fairly well- and becomes something like a grandmother in the community 🥰 Overall, just a very social-able elder lady who has family that have departed from Japan and hardly have the chance to visit as often and she's just become a pillar of the community😂

this amount of people is a little too much so i'd love to see it in a different build/area-1: A small japanese family consisting of a mother, father, and teenage daughter lives here. They live in a small, run-down apartment and live a humble yet comfortable life. Though, their daughter, Mai, thinks her life is lacking. Not only does she think her life is boring, but knows that her parents need more money to support their life-style(you'll see why later). The reason why her parents can't afford a lavish apartment despite earning a little more than enough to have one, is because of their daughter's school tuition. Their daughter, Mai, goes to a prestigious high school uptown. This school has many programs, including an exchange program. Mai, who thinks this would be the perfect solution to all her problems, BEGS her parents to allow her to sign up. Fortunately for Mai, they say yes. And what-do-ya-know, she gets selected to house an exchange student from France. A month or so later, Mai's new exchange roomie and possibly new best-friend arrives at their small apartment. Now, Mai has a new companion in the household, while her parents have a new mouth to feed.
if the french exchange student has her own room, you can decorate her walls with polaroids of Paris, the flag of France, and more decor regarding France. On the other hand, Mai is a j-pop/k-pop enthusiast with posters of idols all over her walls. Mai's parents, specifically her dad, is a die-hard patriot for Japan. He was in the military and served in Japan for many years. There is a Japanese flag on the wall right in their living room, with a bunch of paintings and decor regarding war, or whatever. So basically there's a clear division in style between the rest of the house and Mai and the French Student's room.

Idea for the first apartment!! A 18 year old girl trying to start a new life because her parents don't support her dreams of being a music producer. Right now, she's working in that Seven Eleven to gain money for the equipment she needs to start making music. Being alone is hard for her since she grew up around 3 siblings, who did want her dreams to come true but she had to go no contact due to her parents probably finding out where is and get her back living with them. The reason they don't support her dreams because they want to marry her off to some rich dude for the money but GIRLPOWER RULES! She's very social, energetic and a bit noisy due to her editing her unreleased songs on her phone. But atleast she knows people love her songs because when she moved into her new collage, she joined a band (two boys and three girls including her.) They made a song together and everyone in their collage loved it!! I'M SO HAPPY YOUR BACK PANDA, I MISSED YOU SO MUCH AND YOU WERE THE REASON I STARTED TO PLAY BLOXBURG!! Hope you love this girl and her story!!

I have a idea for a female named Circe. Circe is a 19 year old girl from France, her whole life she loves music and so she went to Japan to persue in her study and carreer in Music and Dance. She loves playing the piano but she couldn't afford one for in Japan, for that reason she uses an online piano. Circe prefers to study at night while blasting the Kpop music from her phone. She loves to make noodles she buys from the near convinience store and add extra vegetables. She's a hygienic person who loves a clean appartement but she usually doesn't have time to clean.

I have an idea for a character!! There is a family of 4, the mom (Vanessa) the Dad (Jorden) a toddler girl (Stella) and a moody teenage boy (Josiah). they’re dad works 2 jobs and he is very busy all of the time trying to make enough money for his family. The two kids share a bedroom, it gets very cramped and messy since they have a lot of stuff. They’re mom works at home so she is on her computer a lot, she loves to garden so she has many plants everywhere especially on the balcony. the little girl likes to make many messes so they’re house is very messy with toys ALL the time. And the teenage boy LOVES anime so he has many action figures and posters of many Anime characters, he stays in his room a lot and pretty much just lives off of microwave noodles(i hope this story made sense😅 I absolutely love the builds so far and excited to see the next video and see what you make next! 💗)

my character: a foreign exchange college student from america! he always goes for a cozy style of decoration. he’s made a good group of friends while in japan and has gotten particularly close to one guy in particular, if you’re catching my drift. he loves incorporating his favorite color (a sort of blueish green like my profile picture) into his apartment. he also makes youtube videos, so maybe the second bedroom could be an office! he lives alone but has friends over often

My character is 20 years old WITH A BIG SENSE IN FASHION in fact she's so into it that she makes her own clothing..!! That's why I think she should have the second floor as well keep in mind she does have a sowing machine because she makes most of her clothing! So moving into her first apartment is a huge deal finally more closet space!!. Her name is Angelica Cherry Light!! She loves watching romance movies shes also kinda messy AND HAS A BIGG ADDICTION TO CUP NOODLES!!! She goes to fashion classes about 2 times a week and is almost always studying fashion but wishes for more. I hope you like my character and consider her to live in one of your apartments so glad you are back :D and she loves the theme of fairy lights and vines flowers etc!
