Thank you!! I think you asked about doing "Apostrophe" as well - we actually play a bit of that in the Pygmy Twylyte set so I'll happily record it for ya!
Certainly! It's a "Gretsch G5123B Electromatic Hollow Body" bass (I had to google that to get the right one!)!! Sounds lovely and the neck is great - it's been my main go-to bass for practicing in the house. For the recording, the bass is going through the Mark Bass amp plugin on Logic with some compression put on it.
I couldn't find any tab myself I'm afraid. I worked it out by slowing it down but keeping the pitch the same through Logic X. You can change the speed on the video above by clicking on the cogwheel. That might help ya.
R.I.P. Tom Fowler.
Fowler blood rolls through your veins!!
Haha! Thank you!!
That bass sounds very very very tight!!
Thank you very much!!
I love Frank Zappa’s music and this might be my number one favorite track of his - it is perfect and strange in the very best way.
It's great fun to play as well. One of my favourites for sure!

Thank you! I'm running the bass through a EHX Bass Compressor. Sounds grand! Just applied a wee bit of EQ in Logic and that's pretty much it!
@@TheGingerBassistthanks! any videeo of how it sounds without the EHX for comparison?
Great stuff!

@@TheGingerBassist Thanks. It looks and sounds great. When Zappa sings "I'm gonna find me a horse...", I just smile.
