Just got my kit the other day. Great kit overall but I am disappointed that they do not have a flaps up option like they do with the A and B. I really thought that would be how this kit would be.
@RW Hobbies do not sand the canopy seams. They are intentional because the represent the detonation cord for the canopy ejection system you use thr seams as a guide for decal placement.
Agreed. A little pop of color makes the difference. But with some corrosion weathering you can make them look visually interesting. Also may be a shooter figure in the yellow or deck staff around the jet in color shirts.
Thanks for another great video. I got my kit last week here in Japan. Another masterpiece from Tamiya.
Agreed, I hope Tamiya can produce more modern jet kits as they are all great.

am still waiting for release in UK looks amazing. Might be an idea to display it over a mirror to see all that weapons bay detail!
Good idea!

good call. thanks
I’m surprised they didn’t fix the panels when they made a new mould
The marketing said improved surface detail. However looks the exact same to me. Still a great kit though.
The marking options are GREY, GREY, GREY and GREY lol. I would do the one that has the MARINES markings in RED to get a bit of colour on it.
