For “The Good Old Days” we came up with a few different video concepts, but ultimately none of our ideas brought more life into the song than the videos we already had in our phones. We mined deep and had all of these random photos and videos from our pre-kids days. Lot of hats, lots of planes. Blair had bangs at some point. I would say this is an unfiltered look at our life, but some of these photos are indeed VERY filtered since they are from the early days of instagram. Towards the end of the video, everything speeds up because that’s how life has felt lately. Long gone are the days where Blair and I would ride around in our silver tour van, days passing so slow it drove us nuts. Now there isn’t enough time in the day and last summer feels like one minute ago.

This song brought me to tears. I lost my husband one year ago. We were together for 23 years. I remember waking up on Sunday morning looking out the window to see him building a fence or feeding the horses with my daughters. That man drove me absolutely crazy yet I was crazy for him from the beginning. We raised three beautiful children together. Truly cherish the moments you have with your partners for one day they good days will be behind you. I love you Christopher and we will be together again someday.
These lyrics hit me HARD. Dealing with the trials of raising a toddler and often forget that these are the good old days.
Ron pope I've been listening to you since 2012 and wow! You've never changed what music you have brought to our ears it's the best and allways will be much love to you and you're family thankyou for all the amazing music in the years I've been listening!
