HB is in straight C, not dropped. Just FYI
thanks i always wondered this..whats the difference?
@@brownpunk1794 Straight C is two whole steps down from normal E. So the strings should be C-F-A#-D#-G-C
@@larrydwyer789 thanks bro
@@brownpunk1794Playing it in C standard also helps there chugging parts sound less sloppy, because when they play the C it is in the E minor chord shape, playing a chugging riff on the C string and then going into an open barred C can sound abit more sloppy and have more bleed through, otherwise the Drop C tuning is actually pretty good because Hatebreed aren't exactly playing anything technical so it's easy to transcribe it in drop C but like I say in drop C some of the open parts can just sound sloppier and not have the same attack
I like it better drop c
Great play, great sound! Your steady uploads are great. I couldn't play the guitar for a week because my arm broke. Happy New Year my friend!
Happy new year my dear friend and wish you a speedy recovery! 🎉🤞🔥
Thank you. Just started to mess around with drop C and a ton of Hatebreed songs are accessible to me as a beginner.
Glad you liked it 👊🤘🔥🎸
Yeah Hatebreed actually play C standard though this is why if you see them live them will mainly use the typical powerchord shapes and e minor shape on the E and A string .. or in the case of the drop tuning C and F strings. In that case playing the C powerchord in the E minor shape helps break it up from the just chugging on the C string to a barred open C chord, making it sound abit less sloppy and giving it abit more of a clean attack
Wrong tuning, hatebreed plays in C standard
Im learning it in drop c cause it's easier for me as beginner I'm working on endurance and playing in rythme chill outs guy
That's why the tab is also there it's for learning
Great vid thanks
So many getting butthurt over the tuning. Who cares?!
just listen to the cover and youll find there's no dissonance - all the correct notes are being played, thus making it a good cover.
You get the point bro. But you know the tuning is something that I can understand more but you will be surprised how many complaints I got in my videos about the same notes played on the A string instead of E string for instance. Everyone wants to be "Authentic" 🤣 even if it's more simple to play and they have the belief that the original artist played the track in that way. Just play the damn song! 🔥🎸
Slappin some tablature up there isnt a lesson
Fucking killer man! I love some Hatebreed! One of my go to bands at the gym. Rock on bro! 🤘
🤘🤘💪💪 thanks bro! 🎸
Love your videos!!! They help me out alot! However I would like a hand on getting a song done by a French group......could you help me out and get a TAB done on it please?
The ARRS - Sanctuaire
Much thanks and really appreciated
Hi David and thank for your comment! Really appreciated! 🤘 I've listened to the track and I actually liked it! But as you may know doing a cover video with tabs requires hours and hours of work (learning and tabbing the song, record audio and video, editing and final upload) and sadly this track, that I repeat myself it's a good one, it's basically unknown and the video will get very very few visuals. Unfortunately I have very limited time and I have to focus on my main goals for the channel. Hope you understand and thanks again for the kind words! 🙏
Hey. Thx for tabing that out correctly. Very helpful.
🤟🤟
2:10 now that's hardcore 😆😆
Love that tone!
That guitar is sick also the cover
Thank you
Drop D
I played in Drop C
@@StevenPerroneaa Im sad bro kkk, my guitar is in drop D...
:0 🖤🎸
That's awesome. Only problem I have is trying to get that sound out of my amp. I have a randall rx120d and no matter what I do I can't get that sound. Leaning more towards pedals but I should be able to come close with the built in effects. It's just not lol
Thanks a lot! 🙏🤘 What cab do you have connected to the Randall? The original one? and what pickups do you use? Check if the built in effects have compression and EQ and try edited that instead of the distortion. Never tried your amp so it's not easy to help you out but sometimes adjust the compression and frequencies is what you need.
@Steven Perrone hey dude thanks for the reply. The cab I'm using is the original randall it's a 4x12 200w. The effects have no compression or eq knobs just a level knob. In the dirty side there's your normal gain, treble, mid, bass, level and it has a contour knob that I'm not quite sure what's up with that. I fiddled with it all a bit but just can't quite get it to what I like. I'm a kinda experienced guitar player as in I played a lot about 15 is years ago and got back into it. I got this amp for a killer deal and no blown speakers or nothing but yet my son's fender mustang 25 sounds so much better. I play anywhere from standard to drop c. It just seems like I have to crank this amp to the point I can't practice with it because it's just too damn loud
This is my first larger amp and I'm a noob at it. I always had smaller amps. This one is throwing me for a loop lol
The Mustang as you may know is a modeling amp so it's all digital but the starting point for the patches are kickass amps and cabs like Marshalls, Mesas, Voxs, etc and you can edit basically everything of the patch to your liking. Imo if you want to maintain all analog you have to add at least a good distortion pedal and an Eq pedal (in effect loop if the amp have it) otherwise if you want to mix analog and digital you can add a multieffect pedal and basically use the amp in clean mode and with the multieffect unit add whatever you want from distortion, overdrive, eq, compression, reverb, etc, etc. pedals to amps and cabs
Which kind of string are you using in this video?
Ernie Ball Regular Slinky 10-46. (Consider that I tuned to drop D and used the Digitech The Drop to reach Drop C)
Lots of hatebreed covers in drop C when they’re C standard.
Have a sook, mate. All the notes are still the same
Tuning?
Drop C tuning
@@StevenPerroneit's actually C standard, Hatebreed mostly play C standard in alot of there songs, it's easy to transcribe in drop C sure but some of the chugging riffs will have more bleed through and not sound as clean, when going into a open barred C chord as opposed to how they do with the C being played in the typical E minor chord shape, unless of course you can quickly mute the A string or F in there case, without muting the C string like how you would playing a E minor shape and the muting be natural as your lifting your finger off the string (I hope this makes sense, you seem a good guitar player so you should understand 😂😂 ) good cover though
@@nemesis8626 yeah bro your point makes absolutely sense. Sadly I understand later that Hatebreed play in C standard so this video, This is now and I will be heard are in drop C. They still sound brutal 😉 Anyway as you may know my last video is for "Live for This" where I use C standard as it should be 🤘 take care brother
Wrong tuning.
But are they the right notes?
