- These are the voices that you have not heard on the news or on TV. These people have lost basically everything and it will take a very long time to recover all the damages. Southwest Florida will never be the same again cities like Naples Fort Myers Cape Coral Estero Bonita Springs are places that have seen a tremendous amount of damage. For those who choose to continue calling Southwest Florida their home it will be a long road before they can rebuild what they used to call home. I encourage you to donate to the links in this video or to volunteer if you cannot afford to donate. There are still thousands of people who need Basic Essentials such as food, water and shelter. We are very lucky to be able to get back to our normal lives after the hysteria of the storm has passed. For some people it will be a long time before they see any sign of normalcy.

Great video! Well done. The people of Naples will rebuild. The Naples Pier has been rebuilt multiple times and will be once again. I've only lived here 1.5 years but don't have plans to leave because of this hurricane. Fortunately we sustained no damage to house or cars.

Thanks for documenting this. Please do more stories! I'm near retirement and still have a mind to move to Naples. Growing and living in Philadelphia for 99 % of my life i feel (hope really) i could move there and go through a disaster like that and come out the other side, stronger for it, do in part to watching your channel and seeing how the living is there and the people! God bless 🙏. Please do more of these stories! You have a great governor and support systems in Florida. What i hear is people should really have more flood insurance than they currently do.
