AHH i love this video and this band so much.

I interpreted as someone struggling from depression. Searching for any way to escape the lack of feelings and when there is, pain. Songs are about whatever you interpret them to be. They left it open so people could decide for themselves how they want to relate to it :)

I understand that this song about their friend but every song has a underlying meaning. This one might be about emerson depression. He the first one to jump into the water. Then the other two jump to try and safe him, but end up drowing. This could be symbolic of no mater how hard you try help a person with depression, who might end up going down with them. Then they all get saved by what I think might be aypoilic of how fans saved them. Emerson always says when he is depressed he what's to destroy everything but our artwork and letters keeps him going. Also emerson hat is in the water, does this mean at he end em ends up going back in and ever makes it out again. This could very wrong.

I had a dream about Palaye Royale recently, it was so emotional. Remington died in the dream (or rather- nightmare) and his brothers were so sad... and lost. I felt so unbelievably devastated that I didn't know what to do with myself. It made me realize how much this band means to me, and how much I hold their music very dearly. This is my favorite band, and my favorite song. I am so glad I get to live on the same planet with them and experience what amazing things they create and how they make me feel, which is *happy.* ^-^

This is one of my favorite songs off of side b. It's so beautifully written, and there's so much power and emotion spilling out through out the entire song. I think they really could've done anything for the video and I would be happy as long as the visuals held onto that. And they definitely did not disappoint, everything about this is beautifully done. It's so important when a music video can have as much power to make you feel as the song does, and palaye is a genius when it comes to creating visuals and a story for their music.

This causes them to stay under water and almost drown bc the worldly object is actually hurting them in the long run. The hands that are pulling them up I feel are the true fans or family. We send a ton of positivity to the boys to make them feel better as possible and that possibly could turn their decisions and lives around.

Why they didn't go after their brother immediately is a metaphor of when one person goes into a dark place in their life (like depression, drugs) nobody worries about that person *until* it becomes serious. And Emerson (or the character he's playing here) is even lucky someone looked out after him. 🙂
