Hello!!Mine is an e 91 325d with the M57TU2 engine,I had the same problem with this plastics.Did just the same a few months ago! Happen to have same additional water pump issue and same abs issue!!So you're helping me a lot with your videos!!Thanks again,Apreciate!! Just to share:last year my economy droped quite significantly,turned out it was the engine thermostat housing broken inside (gess it was an aftermarket).Had the whole thing replaced - economy back to normal.Temperature makes a diference on the economy. And I agree with you,I love this engine,economy,power,sound!! Beautifull indeed 😀 Keep it on!!Best wishes from Portugal!!
Yes it’s bringing warmer air in, mine keeps on popping off aswell don’t think it would make drastic effect though, as that air will be compressed by your turbo and go through your intercooler being cooled down and then into your engine, make sure your inlet and egr are clean and you got no little boost leaks on the red elbow.
@@iTCXtreme Did you ever get to the bottom of this? When was the last time you changed your fuel filter. Also rather than removing your battery you can hold the button on your speedo in to reset your MPG.
@@brettwilliams5594 Hello mate, the diesel filter was replaced August 2021 and due on next service August 2024. I believe the filter is replaced on every 3rd service interval.

I got a 320d mine is also dropping so i added diesel fuel additives. Cleans the insides. That tends to help
