This is it, we're done! Took longer than I thought. Eight parts seem kinda long but there is a lot of things that go into it.
We will apply the final cosmetic touches with adhesive vinyl. Then add some arms and legs and sandwich the whole thing together and turn it on for a test.

Fun thing is that we've seen character called Orbo in last episodes of Fiona and Cake and that was god-like creature.

Can't share the voice assets. They were provided to me for personal use. I will talk more about the programming later but it's not super complicated. I'm mostly using C++ now.

I was wondering if you might consider a build for your (or a) larger version of BMO. Although the handheld is amazing I’m wanting to build a larger one-this renders some of your files/tutorials inapplicable... not sure if you might consider altering your files so you can scale BMO up 4-6 inches?

I'll post most of that to GitHub when it's ready. 3D printing is probably the only part you need to do yourself.

Where did you got the software BMO is being running?
Some of it I wrote. Other parts are Google voice API and RetroPie.
@@BobHerzberg that's awesome, do you find the custom board necessary, or I could just go around it? Cause doesn't seem like necessary for a simple early build
The custom boards certainly make things a lot easier. The front panel buttons can probably be done with a through hole proto-board. The Google AIY kit comes with a bonnet that solves the audio needs. The biggest drawback to the Pi Zero is that is has one USB port. But that can be used with an RF keyboard so you will still have a lot of interactivity but you won't have teh front mounted USB ports for game controllers. I'm putting together a video with some of this stuff. The custom boards really aren't that hard to make once you have the bare PCB. It just takes a steady hand and tweezers. The actual reflow oven is really just a modified toaster oven but there are other options.
