Got Sonic Frontiers the other day, so when I finally got to this part of the game, I wanted to have some fun. The Sonic Team ABSOLUTELY DID NOT need to go this hard with the boss fights in this game (I've seen all of them btw like holy shit I was blown away) so if you haven't played this yet, I highly, HIGHLY recommend getting this game. You will not be disappointed. Anyway, hope guys are doing well, and I hope you enjoy the rest of your day!
I got the game for Black Friday but I’m skeptical due to it being a sonic games. Remember Sonic adventure, colors, or even frontiers. The music is good but I have not heard much of the gameplay
Plus it really feels like the characters we knew from the adventure era are back to their old selves in this game! Sonic being a healthy mix of cocky, witty and heroic while taking the situation actually seriously, Knuckles back to being the tough badass guardian ready to kick ass while having his soft side show from time to time, Amy caring to others whether they be her friends or the Kokos they just met while not ignoring the real world and its dangers and Tails realizing how much he’s been on the sidelines and wanting to be independent from Sonic again not wanting to always rely on him forever! It really feels good to see these versions of the characters again! Also Big was a nice surprise and just as chill as ever lol 😂
speedruning this boss really isnt that hard when u got stomp and cyloop. but the fact people dont even know about the knight shield skip is wild. (super sonic btw, not the encounter skip)
Yes, because speedrunning a boss requires only perfect inputs, but syncing the song with the gameplay requires perfect inputs, perfect perception of the melody and lyrics and perfect timing

Sonic frontiers (albeit not perfect) is the sonic game I always wanted but never thought I would get. I’m so happy with what we got, can’t wait for the free dlc and how they’ll improve things in the future.
And that’s fine , they needed to expand sonic differently . He’s *BEEN* past the sonic adventures days and *in my opinion* the games got watered down since sonic unleashed , with mania being a revival for the series and bringing back classic sonic outside of being a 3d secondary main character to modern sonic (generations and forces 🙄) All and all This game definitely delivered , all we can expect as fans is for them to perfect and improve this type of gameplay / formula when we do see Dlc or a future sequel to frontiers And yes this comment is long enough I’m sorry !, but with the added addition to how super sonic has been changed . in the future we could finally see hyper sonic become a *canon* entity and form 🔥💪🏼🙌🏽
I unknowingly did this the first time I played it and thought “Wow, they did really did well with the transition!” little did I know I just got so lucky hahahaha
Yeah that was the one thing that sucked. Using skills took his health down way to fast so I had to just spam the same attacks over and over to get it right
3:39 it would have been cool if at that part where the guitar plays the highest note and sustains it, you could have just slammed the Titan back to the ground by cylooping him again. Not many people know you can slam the first boss to earth by cylooping twice
This is EXACTLY what I’ve been looking for since I first beat this boss. I only wish that you could’ve included the QTE where you have to hold open Giganto’s mouth to not be eaten.

Just started playing Frontiers tonight and I had to pause for a moment on the Super Sonic tutorial to appreciate what was about to become an incredible experience. They had absolutely no right to go this hard on not only the music, but everything involved in what is the FIRST BOSS OF THE GAME! I found this video after listening to a few covers of "Undefeated" and I'm extremely impressed on how well you were able to time everything so well. Incredible job!

i just got this game for christmas and i just beat Wyvern today, so i’m watching these after i beat every Titan. i should also say tho, when “Undefeatable” started playing when i fought Giganto, i was squealing like a fangirl, i was that hyped
This is the canon version of the fight. Sonic doesn’t get hit a single time because he’s had so much experience 30 real world years of experience for him that’s probably only about a couple years lore wise but the blue blur is always getting stronger. The Titans and The End are his strongest foes yet, but he is determined to save his friends because there’s one thing you should NEVER do when going after Sonic and that is not going after Sonic if you are an enemy of Sonic you should NEVER EVER go after his friends because that’s when he gets serious and you DO NOT want a serious Sonic after you.
When I played this for the first time I thought it was going to be so easy because everyone I’ve watched makes it look like a breeze, but I actually had a bit of trouble. I had all 400 rings to start and almost ran out. Apparently I’m incompetent when it comes to games, not to mention I almost broke my hand button mashing… Now that I’ve played it for myself I can really appreciate how difficult it must have been to make this video. Thank you for your service!

Sure wish the skills would be nerfed down so that the damage won't be high.
Another method is not putting any upgrades on the attack stat, even less than 10 levels and he still slaps the Titans hard, especially with counters.

@Perhaps Clem you can cyloop Wyvern, though. It creates golden "light shackles" that lock the titan in the air.

i just got this game for christmas and i just beat Wyvern today, so i’m watching these after i beat every Titan. i should also say tho, when “Undefeatable” started playing when i fought Giganto, i was squealing like a fangirl, i was that hyped
This is the canon version of the fight. Sonic doesn’t get hit a single time because he’s had so much experience 30 real world years of experience for him that’s probably only about a couple years lore wise but the blue blur is always getting stronger.
The Titans and The End are his strongest foes yet, but he is determined to save his friends because there’s one thing you should NEVER do when going after Sonic and that is not going after Sonic if you are an enemy of Sonic you should NEVER EVER go after his friends because that’s when he gets serious and you DO NOT want a serious Sonic after you.

When I played this for the first time I thought it was going to be so easy because everyone I’ve watched makes it look like a breeze, but I actually had a bit of trouble. I had all 400 rings to start and almost ran out. Apparently I’m incompetent when it comes to games, not to mention I almost broke my hand button mashing…
