Landing from south east, beautiful weather, flying over Malmö (Sweden) and Øresund with the Oresund bridge
SAS from Athens to Copenhagen, Airbus A321, Flight no. SK 778, July 18. 2015, 13.35 - 15.55 (local time)
The inflight was on runway 30 Southeast - 12 Northwest. The inflight is south of the Bridge and gives a bautiful view of the Bridge with the sun from behind. This runway is only used for 2% of the landings, when CPH is exposed to strong southeast winds from Øresund and The Baltic Sea.
The most common inflight is when runway 22L Northeast - 04R Southeast is used. Then you will see The Øresund Bridge from north and from a much longer distance. This inflight makes the planes coming from south make an impressive U-turn over Øresund feeling like they just stand still in the air.

Beautiful view to the bridge
Considering this would be the main connecting chanel between the north sea and the Baltic it's incredibly narrow.
There is also the "Great Belt" which is wider and "Little Belt".

Great video. I flew into Copenhagen on an Embraer in 2009 . It was the nearest Airport for me as I was travelling to Lund in Sweden. The turn into the Airport was fantastic and it was if you were only feet above the water. We probably were at one time. The views are great.

I have seen many beautiful landing videos on youtube but not that many had so usefull captions, thanks a lot!!! BTW when you said Oresund flights is visible to the left in most inflights you were referring only to flights coming from Stockhom, Helsinki, Asia ... weren't you?
Thank you. Yes landing is usually coming in north of the bridge, meaning the bridge is to the left. And not to the right as in the video. Also when coming from southern or western destinations. Meaning the airplanes usually make a sharp turn over Øresund. But this landing is from south-east on the supplementary runway that crosses the main runway. It gives a better photo opportunity because you have the sun from south and the distance to the bridge is smaller. Here you can see an airplane starting in direction north of the bridge on the usual runway. ua-cam.com/video/nJLX96HvsA4/v-deo.html The direction depends on the wind, but since wind from west is most common the landing is usually from the Øresund (east) side and start in direction west.

There is one false to the comment of landing.The aircraft landing at northwest direction on runway 30 2800m not southeast on runway 12 just a friendly advice.

Not surprised that the bridge isn’t very busy considering the toll is like 50 euros a trip.
I travel across this bridge everyday for work I pay 17 euro each way and the amount of traffic depends entirely on what time
how long did it take from the moment u started filming? cause when u started u were already in the air
It is one continuous clip from 0.00 ( Over Sweden ) to 5.24 (landing) and then the second clip 5.26 to 5.50 ( in the cabin ) is filmed few seconds later. The last two clips are some minutes later after taxiing to the gate.

I've only ever flown two or three times, short haul. Now disability means that my flying days are most probably over. I fly with UA-cam instead! I feel like 'teddy bear' in that tear-jerker hit from the 70s, ha ha. Oh well, at least I'm not traipsing carbon all over the floor I suppose, lol!

I have seen airplanes landing in Copenhagen from Den blå Planet (National Aquarium Denmark).
From the blue Planet? I dont think so. haha. Do you mean airplanes landing in Copenhagen WHERE you can see the Blue Planet, that's airplanes landing on the 04left- Coming in from the north of Saltholm.

No - it is not the most common inflight to CPH - the most used inflight runway 22L was blocked due to maintenance - 5.00 minutes in the movie the access to runway 22L-Northeast / 04R-Southwest) is blocked! Instead the inflight was redirected to runway 30-Southeast / 12-Northwest. This runway is only used when CPH is exposed to strong southeast winds from Øresund & The Baltic Sea! It is most common to see The Øresund Bridge from north and from much longer distance when runway 22L is used. Wind from west and southwest is most common in Denmark!

yes it actually is! i live in sweden and i often travel to denmark an it is an underwater tunnel!
About 30000 cars travel between Denmark and Sweden.

In the southwestern part of Skåne the highest peak is a mere 186 meters above sea level. Which is still higher than any hill in the Denmark proper (excluding the far away Danish territories of Greenland and the Faroe Islands).

Saltholm, "salt" gave admission to the joke of naming the small new artificial island: Peberholm, salt and pepper! Saltholm was at one time planned to be the site of a new airport.

Also when coming in, sometimes it is possible to see the one, new large airport-buildings roof from the air - and it looks like a children's, basic triangel paper-flyer, a toy!! ;-). I think the architects had their fun shaping it like this - in an airport!
