@@crazychase98yeah I was in the military and honestly it’s just a work program for the poor. I was in infantryman (0311) with 2 combat deployments (OEF). There were a lot of shitbags when I was in, the hero worship these people do is absolutely hilarious though.

Why in the world would they burst into someone’s home like that. It’s not like they broke a window. This is irreversible. This family has lost a son, a daddy, a brother! Since when does law just burst in and start shooting without making sure that you have the right suspect, that he is unarmed (or not), and that no little children are around. I can’t even listen to this. It makes me sick to my stomach! May our God and Father wrap his loving arms around them and comfort them.

How is any of this "allegedly?" Are they claiming someone else did it, not the deputies? Are they claiming the guy is still alive? Are they claiming he wasn't actually an airman? What part of this could be claimed to be "alleged?"

Second the deputy knocked and announced his presence TWICE. He was not at the wrong address.
Third the airman came and OPENED to the door with a handgun in his hand.
The cop shot in my opinion prematurely. This had nothing to do with race, wrong addresses or warrants. It was an unfortunate series of events and a deputy who shot too fast.

Right, who in the hell answers their door with a gun in their hand? Everybody knows a police knock and so did he so why the gun? That’s what got him killed.
He answered the door with a gun in his hand, even after the officer announced his presence and that he was law enforcement. As an Airman with firearms safety training he should have known better then to answer the door with a gun in hand. This was not a “hate crime” or murder.
So is the officer supposed to just stand there and wait for the guy to “possibly” fire at him? If he did and the officer was killed would all you still consider it “murder”?
The fact of the matter is that if ANYONE(regardless of race or ethnicity) would answer the door to law enforcement with a loaded gun in hand, you’re either mentally disabled or you have a death wish. So which is it in this case?

Police - who were responding to 911 calls about a physical disturbance that was thought to be coming from that apartment - knocked and announced a couple times at the door, and sadly, Airman Fortson decided to come to the door with a firearm in hand.

Responding to a domestic call does not require warrant. One of the most dangerous calls an officer can answer. Cops have been shot just knocking on the door by male assailant. It's a double edged sword. But. Cop should have yelled for him to drop gun. But guy should never should have gotten it. Cop didn't have time to react other than to survival mode. It's a shame and terrible situation...just so sad...

The police don't give a damn at all. This young man was in his own home on the phone. The person on the other end of the phone heard the whole thing. They didn't announce they just busted in. He asked who was at his door and nobody said nothing.
So he went and got his gun to protect themself and when they bust in that door that deputy saw him holding a gun and just shot him dead. Now you had to shoot that young man 6 or 7 times. That cop murdered that you man who was making something of his life. All of this behind the fucking police busting up in the wrong place. No amount of money is worth a human life.
It seems we can't win... They call us all sorts of stereotypes as a whole, but when we live right and "follow the rules" , "stay in our lane", etc. our lives are worth nothing to them in the end. We need God's kingdom to come on earth as it is in heaven. This system is totally worthless.

Whoever made that 911 call got this young man killed. The lady said at first . I dont know what apartment, and then you can hear her say it's apartment 1401. This young man served with my nephew. Rest peacefully, young king. My sincere and deepest condolences go out to his family, his girlfriend, and all the US military that fight to protect us by putting their lives on the line.

A police can only act like a police. They are not trained properly they have no compassion empathy or understanding of people. They're trained to hate kill attack abuse and cause hardship on people of dark skin. It's there natural instinct to cause harm two people of color. It's sad that it brings them joy and the feeling of accomplishment when doing the horrible criminal Acts that they commit. Now they take comfort in knowing that the justice system is there for them to help them to get out of the situation. The families of the victims are left torn apart and destroyed, with no justice to be found. May God give this family comfort and peace.
