I think I would prefer to keep all recipes secret for now since I think recipes will be what is unique to each alchemist, but just finding multipliers and attempting to find what amount of each gives the most benefit is how you can amplify it to the max.
Also a better base ingredient would probably help, I'm still trying to find the best ones.

Muse fruit is found in the jungle and jadeite can be mined and extracted from Saburra.
