    Underrated fight. Uraraka was the only one who treated her like a normal person. He saved her from those prejudices that hurt her, but he does not forgive her for crimes, she told him so herself. This tells us about the damage that can be caused by having prejudices towards certain things that can be considered different from what we see.

      Toga mentioned something we all thought in a different perspective flash about giving blood to help those in need and not taking it to hurt them. The fact that Dabi (Toya) still lived and is a degenerate piece of shit albeit its not his full fault but still Toga was shunned by hero society and didn’t
      Receive proper
      Quirk counseling at all. She is by far the most
      Redeemable villain. She saved Ochako by giving up all her blood in a desperate attempt
      To make things right. This fight was way different from
      The Todoroki fight
      Romance, misconceptions, karma all these themes. She couldn’t use other quirks because she didn’t love them
      This fight could have been a bit better but it’s more about the theme
      “You can still be a hero as long as you use your quirk for good and justice” I think
      It’s a bit confusing
      Twice was killed by a hero and she felt betrayed she’s like I thought heroes protected people
      Also
      “Love” is fucking warped in her brain. I want to become them because I love them and become them by draining there blood
      Urarakas last attempt
      Quirk power up on the verge of death was beautiful. She floated all the clones and got rid of an army of not for her many MORE casualties would have taken place. I’m glad she was saved. “If I didn’t
      Get stabbed then Toga would still be alive “ she says that in the finale
      Which albeit is true. I mean you faced her three times now but her agility
      Stay is busted Ochakos emotions were all over the place. She just wanted to be loved tbh lol
      She loved Deku
      But def loved Ochako more
      Both high school aged girls who have a crush (well Ochako admitted she’s in love with Izuku still which posses me tf off cuz they don’t end up by the end of the series Horikoshi has love teased us for no fucking reason) (instead and yeah spillers Ochako gets a career and quirk counseling so a girl like Toga never has to suffer like she did) the passion in this was well done! I love Ochako and this dynamic is def not trash. It gave her a unique role since Deku X Bakugo
      Rivalry
      OFA and the Todoroki Drama .com
      So this for her fits and I never thought that this would have been the outcome. Compress got arrested Dabi lives but not for long twice was killed Spinner just gave up
      And Shigiraki was killed by AM (I think) All For One is killed by Bakugo I’m waiting for him to come back! But we only have a few more episodes

    Ochako Quirk Awakening is very similar to Shigaraki’s in a way in which both were mostly single hit targets but both have now developed into AOE Range to where she can Float multiple people at a time without having touch other people

    • @georocks3810
      @georocks3810 Місяць тому

      Yeah it makes sense since we only ever saw her float one object at a time

    Toga and Shigaraki are both so similar. Kind children with abusive parents, blamed for something they didn't do (asking to see the picture and killing the bird), quirks that influenced them negatively and failed by society (nobody helped Tenko and nobody properly taught Toga how to control her urges from her quirk).

    • @The_Black_Roninn
      @The_Black_Roninn 2 місяці тому +2

      Kind of but shigaraki is in a whole different stratosphere because of the fact that his quirk caused the death of his entire family. For toga I actually struggled to even feel bad because her urges were her and not her quirk. Its different if her quirk made her kill people and she couldn't control it. She genuinely liked drinking blood. Abusive parent or not, if you see that you are not gonna react normally.

      I feel it's moreso because Toga's spiral into villainy and the conflict simply makes more sense that Dabi's spiral.
      Toga was branded a demon as a toddler, was love-starved, beatn by her parents and thrown to counselors to meld her into being "normal" and she snapped, confusing love and blood to be one and the same.
      Compared that to Dabi, who refused to listen to everyone telling him to stop hurting himself, got neglected by his father, and decided he wanted to kill everyone.

    In Boku no hero, they criticize society, society itself corners you to be bad, Spinner was unemployed and a nobody, Toya literally did not have his father's approval and saw domestic violence from his father to his family , Toga was prejudged for her way of being, and Shigaraki was also prejudged for her quirk, and her mother neglected him for being a heroine, Uraraka is Not that she forgives what Toga did, but rather that she realized that there are also villains who deserve to be saved from their own sins. I think that after the events within the world of BnH, society will no longer be one of black and white, it will seek to reinsert the misfits. It was a society that had become vain where only personal interests mattered, it is everything that Stain detests about the current society of heroes.

      Toga wasn’t inherently evil she was neglected and oppressed for something beyond her control, and society failed to offer her support. The League of Villains was the first group to accept her as she was, seeing her individuality rather than judging her “blood quirk.” Even though she made poor decisions, her goal was still to improve society, though she took the wrong path.
      Ochaco recognized this and saw Toga as more than just a villain she saw someone struggling & who needed help. This reflects the idea that villains aren’t always beyond saving. While their actions may not be justified, heroes should strive to understand them, to prevent further violence, and offer a path toward redemption. In this view, it’s not just about defeating villains, but also about helping them, because it’s a hero’s responsibility to protect and save everyone, including those who have lost their way.

      It wasn’t Toga’s fault that she was born with a blood quirk, which heavily influenced her personality. She didn’t want to drink blood, and she hadn’t even killed anyone until her parents kicked her out. People wrongly believed she had killed a boy, but in reality, she was trying to save him by performing a blood infusion. Society failed her, rejecting her for something she couldn’t control. She didn’t have any support until she met the League of Villains, with Twice acting as a father figure for her. This abandonment and lack of understanding deeply affected her psychologically, leading her to lose her way.
      Toga was just a hopeless child, and Ochaco saw that. Ochaco wanted to save her from the depths of despair. While Toga’s actions aren’t excusable, it’s still a hero’s duty to save people, even villains. We can feel sympathy for villains without forgiving their actions

      @@Zhou65 I get that, I’m sure many serial killers have had sad backstories or were forced into that state because of the society, But you just can’t empathize with them when they involve innocents because that’s directly doing disservice to the victims and innocents that lost their lives. Why does a killer deserve to smile? why does toga deserve to be called cute? She was letdown by her parents and the world of my hero academia but her actions after were irredeemable which is why I appreciate when shows embody the fact that they don’t need to make you feel bad. While mha was trying to hard for me. Good episode, just not for me.

    • @Zhou65
      @Zhou65 2 місяці тому

      @@yaminaqeeli5766 It’s true that many serial killers or villains have tragic backstories, but their actions still harm innocent people. Empathizing with them can feel like it diminishes the experiences of victims, and it’s valid to feel uncomfortable with the idea of sympathizing with someone who’s hurt others. There’s no obligation to forgive or feel sorry for a villain when their actions directly cause suffering, and a killer, no matter how tragic their story, doesn’t “deserve” to smile or be seen as cute.
      However, empathy and understanding aren’t the same as excusing someone’s behavior. Shows like My Hero Academia explore the complexities of characters like Toga to highlight that villains aren’t born evil; they’re shaped by their environments. This doesn’t erase or redeem their actions, but it does challenge us to consider the bigger picture. When a show tries to make us see a villain’s humanity, it’s not asking us to forget the damage they’ve done. Instead, it’s offering a deeper perspective on how individuals can become lost and how society sometimes plays a role in creating the very monsters it fears.
      But not everyone needs to feel sympathy. You don’t have to connect with a character to appreciate the storytelling, and it’s perfectly fair to prefer narratives where villains are simply bad without needing to explain their motivations. Some people resonate more with clear distinctions between good and evil, and that’s okay. Ultimately, both approaches have value, and MHA was trying to show that even tragic figures can make irredeemable choices-whether or not that lands with the audience is a matter of personal preference.

      @@jiro6748right this fight was different from
      Todorokis in a way less fighting more thematic messages of romance misunderstandings societal norms and standards
      Quirk acceptance and counseling and more
      Her quirk awakening with zero
      Gravity was animated beautifully she used it to protect not kill like Toga did
      “WhHy Don’t She FiGHt or Do something” like bro her quirk isn’t all that offensive. It can be used that way but usually she doesn’t do that lol
