Underrated fight. Uraraka was the only one who treated her like a normal person. He saved her from those prejudices that hurt her, but he does not forgive her for crimes, she told him so herself. This tells us about the damage that can be caused by having prejudices towards certain things that can be considered different from what we see.
Toga mentioned something we all thought in a different perspective flash about giving blood to help those in need and not taking it to hurt them. The fact that Dabi (Toya) still lived and is a degenerate piece of shit albeit its not his full fault but still Toga was shunned by hero society and didn’t Receive proper Quirk counseling at all. She is by far the most Redeemable villain. She saved Ochako by giving up all her blood in a desperate attempt To make things right. This fight was way different from The Todoroki fight Romance, misconceptions, karma all these themes. She couldn’t use other quirks because she didn’t love them This fight could have been a bit better but it’s more about the theme “You can still be a hero as long as you use your quirk for good and justice” I think It’s a bit confusing Twice was killed by a hero and she felt betrayed she’s like I thought heroes protected people Also “Love” is fucking warped in her brain. I want to become them because I love them and become them by draining there blood Urarakas last attempt Quirk power up on the verge of death was beautiful. She floated all the clones and got rid of an army of not for her many MORE casualties would have taken place. I mean you faced her three times now but her agility Stay is busted Ochakos emotions were all over the place. I love Ochako and this dynamic is def not trash. It gave her a unique role since Deku X Bakugo Rivalry OFA and the Todoroki Drama .com So this for her fits and I never thought that this would have been the outcome. Compress got arrested Dabi lives but not for long twice was killed Spinner just gave up And Shigiraki was killed by AM (I think) All For One is killed by Bakugo I’m waiting for him to come back! But we only have a few more episodes
Ochako Quirk Awakening is very similar to Shigaraki’s in a way in which both were mostly single hit targets but both have now developed into AOE Range to where she can Float multiple people at a time without having touch other people
Yeah it makes sense since we only ever saw her float one object at a time This had a beautiful setup It happened since Toga was about to wipe her off the map. Loved it
Toga and Shigaraki are both so similar. Kind children with abusive parents, blamed for something they didn't do (asking to see the picture and killing the bird), quirks that influenced them negatively and failed by society (nobody helped Tenko and nobody properly taught Toga how to control her urges from her quirk).
Kind of but shigaraki is in a whole different stratosphere because of the fact that his quirk caused the death of his entire family. For toga I actually struggled to even feel bad because her urges were her and not her quirk. Its different if her quirk made her kill people and she couldn't control it. She genuinely liked drinking blood. Abusive parent or not, if you see that you are not gonna react normally.

I feel it's moreso because Toga's spiral into villainy and the conflict simply makes more sense that Dabi's spiral. Toga was branded a demon as a toddler, was love-starved, beatn by her parents and thrown to counselors to meld her into being "normal" and she snapped, confusing love and blood to be one and the same. Compared that to Dabi, who refused to listen to everyone telling him to stop hurting himself, got neglected by his father, and decided he wanted to kill everyone.

In Boku no hero, they criticize society, society itself corners you to be bad, Spinner was unemployed and a nobody, Toya literally did not have his father's approval and saw domestic violence from his father to his family , Toga was prejudged for her way of being, and Shigaraki was also prejudged for her quirk, and her mother neglected him for being a heroine, Uraraka is Not that she forgives what Toga did, but rather that she realized that there are also villains who deserve to be saved from their own sins. I think that after the events within the world of BnH, society will no longer be one of black and white, it will seek to reinsert the misfits. It was a society that had become vain where only personal interests mattered, it is everything that Stain detests about the current society of heroes.

Its so lame , there are like maybe 100,000 doubles yet they couldnt kill a single hero , not even trying to attack. Just running beside heroes . Not a single hero died in this season (except for star and stripes) , its plot armour. Boring , no stakes at all . Ochaco recognized this and saw Toga as more than just a villain she saw someone struggling & who needed help. This reflects the idea that villains aren’t always beyond saving. While their actions may not be justified, heroes should strive to understand them, to prevent further violence, and offer a path toward redemption. In this view, it’s not just about defeating villains, but also about helping them, because it’s a hero’s responsibility to protect and save everyone, including those who have lost their way.
Also toga stuff isn’t concluded yet we still have couple of chapters it’s one of best examples of saving villain but in bitter way. We also get built up explanation about quirks later next season it just shows how tragic of character toga was. I’ll just say it’s dark asf.

This abandonment and lack of understanding deeply affected her psychologically, leading her to lose her way. Toga was just a hopeless child, and Ochaco saw that. Ochaco wanted to save her from the depths of despair. While Toga’s actions aren’t excusable, it’s still a hero’s duty to save people, even villains. We can feel sympathy for villains without forgiving their actions
