Underworlds has some great value for creating Warcry warbands! There's an upcoming Underworlds warband for the Daughters of Khaine with one snake lady, a hag queen and, I think, three of those stabby ladies with then knives. Solid variety for a warband :)
I have got magores fiends (the khorne warband) have added the old ETB khorne warriors from the storm of sigmar set and a khorgorath and that’s a Warcry warband.
I much prefer the 3rd generation Horrors - the ones that actually looked horrifying. The newer plastic ones just look like Squigs with too many arms to me.
I absolutely hated their look before I got a kit of them. They look way creepier if you paint them in skin colour first and then just use a light blue/pink wash to colour-code them. Oh, and my tip is to use a little bit of greenstuff to reduce the symmetry of their faces which really reduces that cartoony look
in the new tzeentch book, there is art of tzeentch and nurgle armies fighting each other and the horrors on that look way better then the current models.
Hey! Thanks for the video on this set. I had overlooked them in the deluge of new releases the last couple years. Hot tip in regard to these Shadespire sets. You can order them without the Shadespire cards with a warscroll for use in AoS. They're a little cheaper too! If you play AoS Skirmish, they are a great start to a warband, add a box of basic troops and viola! Rock on buddy!
The moment they released the Wurmspat i had to get them, their bases are terminator sized, their models are amazing on their own and gave me lots of parts to kitbash with. plus Fecula makes for a great alternative Malignant Plaguecaster.
It's because GW use the most profitable historic conversion rate, in case of australia, if they set it so that 1aud =~0.3pound, then they make extra money until the Australian dollar falls below that again
@@Kirioth If you do Endless Spells, remember there's also the "faction terrain" like the Skaven Gnawholes, or the Ossiarch Necropolis thing (that looks awesome for a Necron army as well!)
so i have been getting really into converting and kitbashing recently and if you run out of things to talk about maybe you could talk about your favorit kit for bits. (maybe you already have and i just forgot) like show/talk about weapons and heads or torosos that just fit nicely in conversion/kitbashing
I think I'll buy these as a gift for my bro since he started in 40k with thousand sons but he lacks in the demon and cultist sectors so I won't just do him a nice favour but indirectly force him to expand his army what's also good for me with that price makes it worth even more
The staff feels a bit off to me aswell, and I think it’s because it’s a bit flat. I don’t know if it’s the same part that feels off to both of us, but maybe that’s why you wished it’s a little bit more complex.
Right, great video, but I've got a question. Are you still going to be doing community highlights or has that ended? If you're still taking submissions, I've got a Tzeentch knight that I want to show you.
I am working on one (and when I say working, I mean trying to fix the apparently endless issues that crop up while it's exporting). It's become something of a cursed series that throws tech issues at me no matter what I do, but I WILL get them out eventually.
I love the Underworld sets... first, Underworld is a great game, but really I like these because $30 US is not too bad to have a small faction to us in my D&D game.
That’s if buying the one with the cards, suggest looking through the site, as the models that aren’t for sale in Underworlds anymore, are for sale by themselves in their AOS faction page. These ones lack the cards and other things that up the price of them, and cost only 25 dollars.
@@James-lr3xg Just type in Eyes of the Nine into the GW website. It should pop up two different ones. Only the box sets get sold in stores, the models on their own have to be bought from the GW website directly.
GW pricing makes no sense sometimes, take conquest and mortal realms magazine and for 8 quid you are getting models around half their retail cost just without a box. Same goes for none GW retailers, they manage to sell their products aroun 20% cheaper, so smaller profit but can still sell them cheaper than GW.

Hear me out Jon. A knight body on a baneblade chassis.

Talking of great value, the cultist set for Blackstone fortress is only £15
Does anyone ever ask why that makes it $30 usd. Currency conversion would be less than 25....
@@Monkeyman12534 Hey welcome to my world it's $40 AUD here.
@@poshboy4749 and Underworlds faction boxes are $51 NZD. Still, it's cheaper than getting that new limited edition Sister of Battle for $71!
At this point, I almost wonder if GW just hates foreigners. Even accounting for extra costs associated with globalized sales, it just doesn't add up.

The finger flames look amazing.
Awesome to see some underworlds coverage
Great review series mate. Any chance we could get an episode on Endless Spells?
Definitely! There's some awesome stuff in there and I swear half of them were made to be turned into other things
@@Kirioth Nice one, and thanks for helping to keep us all sane throughout all of this.
@@Kirioth maybe the scythe pendulum could be turned into a knight weapon, which would be really cool to see

could u do one on the kharadron overlords band and perhaps the fyreslayers?
Can't wait for the skaven one. If you do it please say what rules you'd use for a 40k conversion.
Scenic bases make great objective markers.

17quid translates to 50 bucks :/ very cool models though, would have prob got me into AoS had this been out when I first started with the hobby.

I got it for 25 or 30 bucks for just models at a GW. As someone said as well 50 is for all the other stuff
@TheJestor @Cornwalum My Local GW website only has the listed as a box set without the cards for $50

They cost $30 USD. Why is GW's regional pricing so awful?
It baffles me that they overprice themselves so horribly in the USA
Great content mate. Listen to your vids while walking my dog :) can you review the Necromunda Subjugators? I Am tHe LaW lol
Tzeentch is my favorite God of Chaos. The minor Chose gods are over hyped.
