What I like what they've done with certain character variants is they made these counter weakness characters like how normal peashooter is great against 1 person but ep is great for groups and then theres hot rod then petrified
I prefer using Agent pea because evwn if ur missing heads ur doing decent damage, so landing headshots means u doubling the damage of something that already makes quick work of light classes. Plus the accuracy makes him good at all ranges. The downside? Slightly less hp. Yeah that will make up for stupid high dps at all ranges

The man thing I found is like unless your in close range your dps is really low because you have to wait for you thing to hit or travel far enough to explode
I do think Electro Pea is the best peashooter but there are a few contenders like plasma pea, law pea and toxic pea. For me it’s plasma pea. This guy has solid splash damage (up to 10-20 splash) and can hit well over 70 damage. He doesn’t burn through his clip like most charged based characters and his ROF is faster than most splash peas.
electro pea, toxic pea, agent pea are reallly good peas, but i feel like plasma gets neglected a bit, like fully charged for a headshot does 90 damage and then instant spray damage after (22 damage per none charged shot.)
I realize that I'm kinda late to this, but that combined with the fact that any direct hit with a peashooter (not law and agent) is a critical, he's soon to be my first mastered Peashooter. He's a lot of fun, too.

Electro pea seems like he could be good at range, but his projectile speed is so slow that any player with 3 iq will dodge it. Anyway, feel free to debate.

I understand this video is quite old and I doubt that anybody's going to read this comment, but I can confirm that Agent Pea is one of the best plants in all of garden warfare 2 if you play them on PC. It's really no contest. As long as you can aim and hit your shots consistently he is possibly one of the best plants that you can play as. Of course Electric Pea is also one of the best plants but he's kind of overshadowed by Agent Pea on PC. I know nobody's going to read this because this video is almost a year old probably is a year old I haven't checked. But I figured it would be worth mentioning even though I know nobody's going to read this

Agent actually requires aim, where as electro just requires the ability too be aware of manual detonation
