- wish i wasn't feeling sick, could've pushed it a little harder. good times as always, despite going way off route following some fixiefoos, haha. big props to Roadbloack and the Wolfpack Crew for at least getting it somewhat permitted to ride... i was gonna go anyways. lolz!

So what's the deal with this race? It seems closed-course in the beginning of the video, and yet there is still a bunch of cars you lot have to dodge. Just hooning it up on the streets or is this a legit sanctioned event?
this race has been going on for the past 5 years, however this year was just a fun ride do to the city of los angeles cracking down since it's not a permitted event. but yeah for the past 5 years, people have been gathering to do this, for bragging rights and the coveted wolfpack dogtags. everything from pro cat 1 racers show up to younger teens (from all over the world believe it or not). everyone that shows knows very well that the course isn't 100% closed that's why you see cars... it seems dangerous, and it is, but there's just something about it that's awesome! it's grown so much, i remember the first one, there was maybe 500 cyclist, now its upwards of 4000.
Four thousand? Crazy - Well, good luck with next year's event, eh?
yeah, it sounds crazy especially since it's a bit more dangerous with the cars, but it's just so fun! lol.
