Proper planting date is one of the most over looked parts are vegetable gardening for newer gardeners. Most people, including me, tend to plant a little too late in fall gardening. I have had much better production with brassicas and carrots planted in the fall, but still tend to plant a little too late. Hard to plant when the temperatures are still hot.

My cauliflower is doing great, and is making heads, but my broccoli got eaten by pests, and my cabbage is barely hanging on. We've been getting more rain than usual here, ugh! Oh well, at least the cauliflower and beets and carrots are good. I've had the worst time with trying to do fall crops, so I'm actually excited to get SOMETHING this year for fall, LOL! Also, I think your celery is talking to you😂

@@Fivearrowshomestead24 Good to know you guys are good! We donated to East Tennessee, but we didn't realize that Georgia got hit pretty bad too. Mainstream media never really reported much, which we never really watch much any way, but we had to go to alternative media to really see and hear what was going on down there in the south. My prayers go out to all of you down there. If you know of a credible address to to send donations down to Georgia, I'd sure love to know. I know it's going to be an ongoing thing down there.
