The pinch harmonics are so difficult to master

I don't know if you still have trouble with your pinch harmonics, but I used to have a lot of trouble with them, I found that if you get a pick that doesn't have a lot of give it makes it a lot easier, I use tortex picks and they're my all time favorite. I wish I knew exactly what the name of it is but I play with them so often that the name rubbed off. Also some people say its easier on the higher strings but I found the opposite and had a lot less trouble on the lower strings.

So I'm stupid, I found the pick and they're Dunlop - tortex 1.14 mm picks. I mastered pinch harmonics with these bad boys. So if you're still having trouble with pinch harmonics, try those out if you haven't already.

The pinch harmonics should be on the sixth fret 3rd string I believe (for the intro). I've tried playing a shitload of different ones (in drop a of course) and that's where it works the best for me. Also for anyone saying they have trouble with pinch harmonics, use a planet waves black ice pick, and hold the pick so just barely any of it is sticking out and when you pluck a string it should hook under your thumb or index finger and create a pinch harmonic
+Eric Johnson im using the black ice too right now but having trouble with pinch harmonics hahahahahaha usually an Eb playe, just switched to this tuning today along with this song. pinch harmonics on slacky lower strings are hard AF. but ill try where u suggested on the neck.

A pitch shifter is very helpful for that :) I have my guitar tuned to Drop D and just shift as many semitones as I need downward all the way to Drop A

I think it all depends on how heavy your strings are. I use medium gauge on my Epiphone SG and have no issues going down to tunings like Drop C, B, Bb, and A.
