In first case the direction of the force was in left side so how the wheel could rotate in clockwise it should rotate in anticlockwise ..I couldn't understand it ..
The force in this case is acting to the left. But it works at the bottom of the wheel. Not at the top. The only part of the wheel, that experiences the force is its bottom.
