I loosely timed the numbers at Music on The March , and noted that Soundsport is ~7 min program, Open Class is ~9 minutes, and World class seemed to be ~12 minutes
well its only fair that any eastern/Midwest corps that finally come as far west as Kansas/Okla. get the same heat bubble treatment that has plagued the west coast and then slowly moved eastward.. following the mass western corps. First Pacific coast, then Utah then Colorado... SCV, BD, Mandies, Crest, Academy, Cascades, [Battalion], Troopers, and KNights have all been roasted for a solid week or more, so they will be well acclimated for the Texas Hell Tour, which will then add Humidity, so they'll be somewhat ready for the swamp tour.
I've got to say, they were probably the loudest that night. I was blown away literally. First time experiencing their show and honestly it was amazing🔥

@@jesuspectre9883 the title is “mynd” so it’s sort of abt the chaotic nature of your brain. the props sort of represent your brain in a way, so they spread out as your brain “opens up” and there are the more chaotic parts, and then close back together during the more mellow moments like the ballad. but the whole idea is different emotions and feeling and that sort of thing. i hope that kind of made sense, i went to one of the pr academy camps and keri mccourt talked to us abt it, but that was a month ago so i don’t remember all the details

See, now THIS fire , this emotion, is what has been lacking form BD in the post-Babylon era. Sure, they have hella technical/challenging book, and execute it nearly perfectly come finals.... but as I finally [surprisingly] got a self-declared BD fanboi to state.. without prompting, taht 2024 show is basically the same dish as 2023, with slightly different method of cooking (since we all love to call these videos "recipes", cooking analogy seems on the nose LOL). He is bemused that the onyl real difference seems to be the hella cool CAPES!, which I do love... a lot. Reminds me of first time I saw Phantom in Ogden ~40 years ago with the old classic uni of Pith, cape, sash, chevrons, etc. I'll never want to root for BD given the SEC football-like dominance we dont see ending anytime soon - but if they would throw in the major classical symphonic element with fire, I could respect them a lot more.

The middle is very messy. The brass appears to be secondary to everything else, as if they are not the main feature - the cubes even have more prominence. Has the creative director changed recently?
