For some reason I can't reply normally. But I will say, I don't think anyone knows how we are "supposed" to dress. I just wear what makes me comfortable with myself that I feel I look good as possible.
Patty, you are such a stunning 81/82 year old woman. I have never seen one of your videos where I’ve thought that you didn’t look good. I have to say at 71 yrs old that as long as I feel comfortable in my outfit, make up & hair style when I look in the mirror then I’m ok to go out or just hang inside. I don’t relay on the opinion of others. It’s only how I feel when I look in the mirror. Unless you’re wearing hot pants or a dress or top that is cut down to your navel please don’t change your amazing style. It’s who you are rxstrmom 🥰
I’m 67 and can totally relate to your thoughts and questions. You’re a true delight and inspiration. And beautiful! Thank you for being you and sharing yourself with us. Hope you have a blessed Thanksgiving!
Hi, Patti! I had a little chuckle over, "Patti is afraid of growing old." I mean, Patti you are already old, and you are the LEAST afraid person I can think of regarding being worried about aging. Here you are at 81 with a UA-cam channel about style, makeup, hair, aging gracefully, and being kind. That's not fear -- that's CELEBRATION! Love you, Patti.
My mom said the same thing that shes afraid to get old at 90 yrs old lol😂 I think the reason why they got to that age is they dont consider themselves old !! so hey we should all think like them.
I'm 58 and struggle with the same thing. I think when I quit working outside the home, it changed how I dress. I'm home all day, I'm not going to dress the same way I did when I worked in the corporate world. Now, I find that I wear what is comfortable, and truly have no idea what is in style or trending. I really think anything goes! Make yourself comfortable and confident 💓
I agree!! Do and wear what makes you happy!! There’s new products out constantly promising the fountain of youth and I’ve decided to stop trying them. I stopped listening to what not to wear also!
@@chaoswithsusan I retired at 58 as well and it changed everything about how I dress now. And when I do go out, other than errands, I have such a hard time figuring out what to wear!! I am the sweatpants queen 🤣
"Walking each other home." That's what I say, as I attend more and more funerals, with each passing year. I am 72 and gradually saying goodbye to so many friends and acquaintances. We Just have to look forward, with gratitude and optimism to each day granted.
I have 3 closets full of clothes and shoes. I regularly go through my closets and purge what I know i am not wearing. I love my skinny jeans and will wear them the rest of my life. I am not fond of flares or even wider legs. I think we should all have our own style. I wear what makes ME feel good. I'm the one that matters. ❤
I turned 76 Oct 2nd and have been following you for years. You have been a great inspiration for me, I always admired that you don’t let a number dictate how you dress. I will continue to wear what I feel I look good in. If it’s “too young”, I think we instinctively don’t feel as good about it, but I don’t dress like what I use to think a 76 yr old should! You are a beautiful woman. Just do what feels good to YOU and don’t worry about conforming to other’s ideas of what we should do. ❤
Getting older takes courage. We become invisible to the younger generations and I’m ok with that now. I’ve adjusted and accept it. I don’t care about cosmetic surgery, I’m good with drugstore make up, comfortable clothing, saving money, etc. My main concern is being very mobile, not hurting and able to play with my grandchildren. I just got an e-scooter for my 70th birthday to take them for scooter rides. It’s so much fun.
You look absolutely gorgeous youthful very, very pretty, and your joy shines outward making you even more beautiful! This is from a 68-year-old viewer! I think your hair is beautiful. I love it long. You look gorgeous with your hairbands and you are absolutely lovely through and through.
Patti you are a beautiful woman of 81. You don’t look anywhere near that age and you know why I say that. Because when you’re 81 , 91, 71 you should look old. You are so pretty and should be proud and your family proud that you care how you look. It’s not just that your lucky to be pretty but you care how you look. I’m the same way. I just turned 70. I wear makeup almost everyday. I don’t wear anything I don’t feel good in, and I don’t dress for anyone but myself. Well maybe my husband once in a while. I still get compliments and it makes me feel good as I’m sure you do but I feel good because I know if I didn’t care how I looked I wouldn’t get those compliments. I just hope you’re not letting yourself become depressed. You continue being the Patti I’ve learned to know and who has inspired me along the way.
I love videos like this ❤ I'm 60. I've discovered that with every decade of my life, there are new challenges. Everything is changing, hair, skin, body... This is life, and I'm learning to adapt.
I am 75 and there are days I don't care at all how I look. And if No one else likes it they can look at something else. I wear loose tops to cover my belly. I used to care so much and wouldn't leave the house without makeup and hair done. Prissy girl I was. But now, it really doesn't matter. I'm at peace and comfortable with it. I wear stretchy pants. I know if I wanted to put on my makeup I could look better. But it's for me and no one else. You look beautiful.
The makeup you put on today looks really pretty on you. I am 75 and still love makeup. We need to do whatever makes us feel good about ourselves at any age.
I’m 76 and there are issues that I’ve had to deal with such as thinning hair, pants that don’t fit right and shoes that hurt my feet. When we are younger we never think we’ll get to the age our parents were. But there are many choices out there to pick from. Pick a style that makes you feel good. Shoes that don’t hurt your feet. I wore pointy shoes while I worked but that was in my younger days and wanted to look good. Now, I go for comfort and yes there are styles out there that are comfortable and fashionable for us older women. I recently bought the jeans you showed us from Walmart and I love them. A lot is trial and error if it doesn’t fit like you want it too exchange it and try again. I dress every day like I’m going out to dinner. There are challenges with every age group, I think our bodies change so much that we’re more aware of how we look. What’s the saying? With age comes wisdom, maybe we’re at that stage in our lives and know it. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! I think you speak for a lot of us and I appreciate it very much. 🤙🤙😁😁
I'm turning 80...and in clothing, about 2 decades ago, I adopted the Bohemian style...wrinkle free fabric, palazzo pants, peasant tops, bold colors, belts or no belts, and very comfortable...the style fits Me to a tee...I've also body-permed My pixie hair style, at the crown, to give it a little volume and lift 🥰 **Pss...love your chats and videos 🥰
Patti, I am feeling the same as you about aging. It seems like you are telling my story. I just do what makes me happy and couldn’t care less on what others think. I have silver thin fine hair and wear it up in a fashionable way and looks appropriate and my husband also has silver hair and we both are happy where we are in life. We have our grown son and daughter who love us and it makes our life very rewarding. Oh I’m 82 and live in the hills of Pa…
I’m 71, and I see it NOW !! I’ve been overweight for a long time, but have taken it off the over past few years, & I notice that my face & arm skin are VERY telling on me. Yes, my hair, also. I am taking ARMRA Colostrum in my protein drink daily, and that seems to help. (protein2O) And eyes bags really tell a story on me, but I am blessed to still feel good and feel pretty jiggy for my years. I would feel lucky to look anywhere as good as you do in 10 years ❣️ fingers crossed. This is why I watch & LISTEN to you. You’re a fabulous person 💖
Morning Patti great to see you, let me tell you I'm never be bored with any of your videos, I always look forward to watching and listening to you you make my DAY 🥰🥰🥰 Wisdom comes with age, Kindness and love comes from within, Style is your choice and only your choice. Do what makes you happy, wear what makes you happy and like what you always say be kind, those that are not are the ones are not happy. Patti Age is a Journey somedays are great somedays not so much. Patti have a great day 😎
Patti, I was 79 in May of this year and quite frankly for the first time I do feel old😐. It seems to me that the focus of my days have become more narrow. For example, I go to Church, the grocery, an occasional Dr appointment and once a month to Bunco with 11 other ladies who are approximately my age. But my zing (energy) is slowly depleted. I will say that thanks to you, I have started to wear make up again! It also feels like my opinions or advice are no longer sought! Oh well… not much to be done about it but I won’t just sit back and wait for the end. I try to be optimistic, upbeat and enjoy my somewhat “narrow” days. And of course prayers always get me through! So enjoy watching you Patti!
Hi Patti, I’ll be (77) my birthday and I’m just so thankful & grateful & blessed for every day I have on earth. I’ve had major health issues this year and hopefully I’ll have to improve soon… I’m like you never had anything done to my face or body and never will. Patti, you look beautiful and hope you have a great Thanksgiving 🤗 Lea
I think you are a beautiful woman and you have a great sense of style! I am 52 and trying my best to grow old gracefully. 😊 I hope I am as neat as you at 81. Stay beautiful!
I think you just look lovely! I wear very little makeup anymore, sunscreen, blush and some lipstick. I have no lashes after cancer treatments, so I don’t wear mascara and have never looked back. I’m 70 now and finally know what my style is. Just keep doing you💕
This made me tear up a bit.. I've never felt comfortable in my clothes or skin for that matter - as I've aged, I have begun to wear what feels good to me and am less worried about what others think. I'm glad I grew up without social media. Aging isn't for sissies but you sure are kicking it. Big hugs to you sister!
I’ll be 78 next month, and aging became a reality for me when my husband died almost two years ago. We have known each other since we were 17, have been together since we were 19, married at 20, and married almost 56 years when he died. He still is my best friend, my love and my life. My zest for life, my desire to be active are gone. I manage and do the best I can day to day, I get out and do things, meet girlfriends for lunch, travel a little with my kids and sometimes one of the grandkids, but it just isn’t the same anymore.
I lost my man last year and feel for you. I made the decision to live my best life at 76. Do your best to wake up happy and greet others with a ready smile. In time, you will find joy again.
Talking about how old you feel inside made me smile. I've had that conversation with many ladies and we all agreed we felt from 20-32 inside. I'll be 71 in Janurary but I feel 21 inside. I wear whatever feels comfy. No makeup. Short hair. I feel so free and I used to love makeup and long hair and heels and dressing up. Nikes changed my world.❤😅
My father always said the most beautiful people are people who are just themselves. He also believed in looking his best every day. You are beautiful inside and out. Just do you. Love you!
I’m 80 I always wear makeup every day but as I got older I had severe health problems that has left a once healthy energetic person to a crippling full of pain with balance problems. I use to dye my hair but not any more it’s not that I don’t care I just don’t have the energy. I am amazed though how you can apply makeup and look absolutely stunning and I thought I’m going to try what Patti’s doing it would definitely lift my spirits!! I love you ❤️💕
I am a little younger than you and although I have taken very good care of my skin, I hate what I see in the mirror. And all the clothes in my cupboard don't make me feel confident. I need to get out of this rut and you are my inspiration dear friend. Please keep inspiring us 🙏🙏
I have been following you for many years. I will be 81 i n a few months. While watching you it felt like you and I are definitely on the same page. I will never leave the house without makeup and pulled together. There are days when the makeup looks a little off, but I tried. My husband and I have been married 63 years. He always says I am beautiful and that he is proud of me. We go to the gym 5 days a week and walk 1-2 miles a day. I have those days when I think 85 and 90 will be here soon enough. Our focus on our savior is what keeps us grounded. I think these thoughts on age are normal. We have good days and bad days. You are an inspiration to many of us women. Love and kindness also thankfulness is most important. Thank you for sharing and being you.
At 76 & this last year I admit the mirror has aged me 🤣🤣🤣 I've adjusted my makeup,.lighter.. My clothing looser, shoes flatter, no more Bright patterns...I wear cute flats, leggings, loose usually solid tops, most of the time. Comfortable ... I had long hair and always wore it pulled up into a bun decided to get it cut & like you let it grow out, I'm your color now...and styled about under ear length ,looks much better more flattering and more youthful takes a little more work but I'm worth it😂 and I've accepted I do the best I can 😊
You hit the nail on the head. We just want to look the best that we can look at whatever age we are. And what used to work for us doesn't work as we age so it's a learning process that we go through. You are definitely not afraid of aging! As you said, you're not doing facelifts, fillers, injections, etc. and neither am I at the age of seventy four. Feel good about yourself because you're doing great!
Patti, just be you. You set the ‘look’ for others. That comes with confidence from within. I have been happy with just being classic. And you are right - when you feel it, it’s right. I am 78 and lately I have been so grateful that my body still works! There will be a day that will come when I won’t be able to shower on my own, when I won’t be able to walk to the bathroom on my own or dress myself. So I am taking a new look at how blessed I am that I can still do these things and be independent. So take a deep breath in and find that confidence again. It’s there. You’re just having some self doubt like we all do periodically. It will pass. In the meantime, check and see if you might need a little vitamin B12. Just a thought. My love to you. And thank you for being there for me and all the rest of us!💕
I think you are a beautiful person inside and out. And, an inspiration to myself and I am sure others as well. I am 66 and starting to see age related changes even though I try to exercise etc. Everyday is a blessing and we do our best to look and feel our best.
I know we are all different, and to each their own. At 69, I know who I am-actually I have always known who I am at every age-and I love who I am. As for me, I will wear whatever I want whenever and wherever I want. I have never followed fads or let anyone tell me what my style should be and I never will!!! I have a very dramatic personality and style, so with my eclectic taste, I have some of everything in my closet and I plan to enjoy it all until the day I die!!!!! I own enough makeup, skincare and bottles of fragrance to open my own boutique-the same goes for clothes, handbags, jewelry, scarves hats and every other accessory imaginable-I love it all!!! I say don’t make a mountain out of a molehill-be who you want to be-if you don’t know who you want to be by 81, you will never know…🤷🏼♀️. I would be a whole lot more interested in your health issues and how you have dealt with them…just sayin…🤷🏼♀️
You are so very beautiful. Don’t change a thing! We love everything about you. I have been struggling with clothes more than hair or makeup. Is this okay for a 74 year old? We just keep trying, I guess. But Patti, you look amazing. Have a happy Thanksgiving.
I think you nailed it, Patti when you said you want to look/be the best you you can be at whatever age. And you know what? A smile makes everyone look better.
I’m not 81 but I am about to turn 58 and this is just my opinion but I feel like ever decade we go through these types of feelings. 60 is just around the corner and I’m not sure how do 60 year olds dress, how do they speak, how do they do their makeup, is it different than 58?? It has to be normal and something all of us at some point in live go through. I can feel your pain and I guess if we just forget the number 58 or 81 maybe we would be better off! They tell me it’s only a number! Just be you without a number!!! Gods blessings!
I’m 81. I apply full face makeup every day unless I’m not feeling well. I have found that classic dressing never goes out of style. I’ve purchased few in-style clothing every year based on new styles because I know they will go out of style quickly. Classic clothes can always be updated with a scarf, jewelry, purse, etc. classic clothes are never out of style. You can have a couple pairs of pants in straight, flared, boot cut, etc. to make your outfit trendy. Always try to buy well made clothes-they last forever. What bothers me the most is losing hair-you don’t know what hair products are really good or not. I’ve watched Asian videos that look great but can’t get anyone to tell me if they can be used on blonde hair. Media exploits women to youth, sex, and how to attract men. Stay true to yourself-what looks best on you will always be in style and will continue to make you look good. We all want to look good-keep your hair, nails, complexion, body the best you can be. I’ll be 82 in 6 months, and I still have people comment on how I look because I care. When you feel confident, it makes you feel good. I don’t look my age-I can still turn heads (men and women) because of my style-some young people don’t understand how to dress today. I just want to add that you are a beautiful woman-I wish I had your complexion and hair. Be thankful for all of your positive attributes. We all get down on ourselves sometimes but we have to learn to accept what we have and who we are-you are a beautiful person.
Collagen Peptides is the best thing for your hair and skin and bones! It is a tasteless powder and I put it in my coffee every morning! You find it almost anywhere! CVS, Walmart, meijers, Walgreens! It has helped me so very much. My skin was tearing, bruising, thin hair and brittle bones! My hair had always been thin and now it is long and thick! It is amazing! My hair stylist tells all her customers when she saw what it was doing for mine! She uses it all the time too! Good luck! Oh, I am 71 by the way! Hope you love it as much as I do!
You look beautiful inside and out. I am 77 and yes feel as you do. This year I’m especially feeling and looking old. I just want to look my best for my age. I love clothes and makeup but have had no procedures.
Was just thinking of you! Happy to see you. We ALL are influenced at one time or another. Just be you , whatever that may be. I so enjoy listening to you. Thank you Patti ❤😊❤
I think you look beautiful in anything you wear! Your style is so wonderful …. You don’t look 81 at all! Bravo for taking care of your skin that’s a big one!! I think genetics say a lot but as we age we need extra care!
At 75, single, work full time, my personal style now is the same as for the last 30 years, with updates and slight modifications. I still wear jeans, blazers, but less trendy more classic. In the end, you just have to be happy and confident in whatever you wear, and to heck with others. At 81, lovely, you have definitely earned the right to wear whatever makes you feel good, confident, comfortable, in your clothes as well as your skin. Thank you for raising the topic, as I'm certain most women entertain these same feeling☘️🍁
Tku sweetheart 💕for all you do, teaching so many of us out here the In an out on cosmetic To style I love it I truly believe when it comes To blue jeans 👖anything that Looks nice on you is in style 🤷♀️ No matter what.... Looking elegant 👌 Looking classy 👌 Is what's in style 100% That's my opinion.... I started feeling the age Thing... will not tell about just a year ago seriously...I'm 64 now.... And I'm like you I do my best To be me" and for no one else" But to look nice... because I want to look nice.... I care less what' any one thinks I really appreciate you 💝
Patti just be yourself, don’t worry about what others may think. Classic pieces never go out of style. You are beautiful just the way you are, be happy.
Patty are skin and hair are always changing so is our body types.... Just don't let it get to you you're a beautiful woman keep doing what you're doing...
I’m 75 and truthfully for the past few years I simply dress by the comfort of my clothes. I never think what others may think of it. To put makeup on like you anymore it’s most uncomfortable. I try putting some on daily but by mid afternoon I’m grabbing for a makeup remover and washing my face , using skin care only and it feels so good. I do have a few health issues so maybe that’s why? My only fear of aging is if I get affected by dementia I’m just me and happy. I feel I’ve hardened as I age sad to say. .
At 75, I want to live long enough to see all of the amazing new discoveries and inventions that are found every day. With UA-cam, absolutely everything is available at our finger tips; knowledge, entertainment, Patti and more. What a wondrous time to be alive.
Patti, you are gorgeous and I admire how you strive to look your best every day. It is very admirable how you even manage to put your makeup on so well and look so good at your age. I absolutely love watching and listening to you. Just be yourself and do whatever makes you feel good, clothes, makeup etc... you don't need to follow any trends as everyone finds their own style over time. Just keep going and enjoy your life - smile everyday as you've got a gorgeous smile x
You are one of the most relatable social media influencers I’ve found! No fakeness. No filler or Botox or pulled tight skin trying to tell us what works. We need natural beauties like you so we actually know what is truth and what is real. I am so freaking happy I found your channel you have no idea. I’m the only one in my entire family line that wears makeup. I NEED you. You’re like my YT mom😂
Patti, you may be struggling, but you're succeeding! I don't think you can go wrong with classic, timeless, flattering, and what you love. I love that blue on you ... Gorgeous. 💕💕
I turned 70 in May and i feel the same way. Trying to keep up with my skincare and bodycare. And makeup. I bought a new outfit and had a doctors appointment. The PA looked up my age and he pd me a huge compliment. He said he thought i was in my 50s. Boy i needed to hear that. You are such an insperation to all of us. And that soft blue is incredible on you. Pastels are your color. Thank you for being on UA-cam.
You know what……you’re beautiful, your make up is gorgeous, on point 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 as for “ style “ find what makes you feel good inside about how you look, that colour blue is perfect on you. I have a line I say with my fashion designs and it’s this …..” where it like you mean it “ & you’ll find with that “ you’re wearing confidence “ and that can’t be beaten . Stay YOU 🩷🩷🩷
My oldest sister just passed away at 72. She wasn’t compliant with her diet, health and medications. I miss her so much. I wish she took better care of herself. Younger siblings probably want to be able to say they want to be just like their older siblings. I find myself saying I want to be like you when I’m your age. You are beautiful on the inside and out in my eyes! P.s. I’m 58.
Pattie I'm 57 and you are such an inspiration to me! You do not look your age at all! Keep doing you. It's easy to get overwhelmed by viewing so many videos that happens to all of us. I've learned that what others give as tips for makeup on how to look younger didn't work for me. I have to just do me! You are beautiful inside and out.
Hi beautiful lady , i' ve been a fan of your channel since almost the beginning and just wanted to tell you that you are so inspiring to older women i am 76 and i dress that way i feel and the way i feel good in ! I also loved that you mentioned that you were in Graceland with elvis i am such a fan of him till this day he was one of a kind please tell us about your experience with him in your next video if you can i love everything about him ! Thank you !Have a wonderful Thanksgiving !😊❤
I turn 70 in January and.....have put on weight that I can't (or won't) seem to get off, getting more wrinkles....feel worse, but thankful to be alive and have the health that I do.. you are one beautiful 81 year old!!!!! can you please link to the brush set and the tarte palate??? thanks!
Dear Patti, I'm 75 and late to the party . I discovered your channel 5 months ago and have binged for weeks. Thank you for your wisdom. Age is simply a number. As of late, I have decided to wear the most feminine clothes. It makes me feel and look better to put my best foot forward. I have received so many compliments, and I believe it was your influence . Thank you again, Judy from Birmingham
So glad to see u Mz Pattie - I'm loving that shade of blue on you, it's very pretty. I can understand where ur coming from in terms of being displaced by social media and how new this is since social media was created. No one can keep up with social media darling - that's why it makes so much money - folks are always chasing the next big thing. It seems to have shaken your confidence greatly and I'm sad to see that. Only you know who you are inside and what makes you feel unique in this world. Let yourself be free of the social media pressure. Being online watching videos is not gonna do u good when ur confidence is low. Ignore the fact fashion trends and allow ur own personality guide you. Be comfortable - be casual - be dressed to the nines! Whatever the day presents, please, please just do you ♡♡♡ Loads of love from me in Scotland xxx
I feel you Patti are absolutely lovely looking. I enjoy your modeling posts. You always look classy and carry yourself beautiful. I try to always dress nicely, fix my hair and put on some makeup. Happy Thanksgiving Pretty Lady ❤ I will be with my son and his wonderful family. I am so happy to be able to take care of me. Whatever that maybe, everyday is different 😊
I understand that you may spend a lot more time than I thinking about these issues due to your channel! I am 70, and see myself caring about trendiness less and less as I age. I am tuning out the noise, and am much calmer and happier. If I offend anyone, my apologies, but go your own way and I’ll go mine. Love your channel.
One more thing. I refuse to spend the whole day applying potions and electrical currents to various body parts. I still want to have a life apart from appearances.
Oh Patti, I am 72 and I can totally relate! I want to tell you that you are loved and appreciated. You are beautiful and you are real. I too want to be the best that I can be. I want to be kind to myself so that I can be kind to others. Please keep being you!
Patti you seem to be struggling a bit but I think all of us ladies do that at times! Maybe just don’t watch so many of those videos you know it all about the sales for many of them! You are still beautiful inside and out. You have always said be KIND to others I think you need to be kind to Patti! You are a wonderful lady and God loves you!! Thank you for all the helpful videos you have sent out to all of your viewers ❤❤
I am older than you by a few years. I think I didn’t really think of my age at all until my late sixties. My problem was the dilemma of trying to decide what I wanted to look like, clothes wise. I never wanted to dress in “ old lady clothes”. Which I don’t. These days I wear jeans cute tops with longer sleeves and sandals or tennis shoes. I had health issues this year also and during this time I lost weight. Which has made it easier to wear things that are more flattering. Anyway, you always look great and comfortable. You’re such a pretty lady anyway. I still feel like I always did inside at least most of the time and that helps so much. When I lookin the mirror I’m happy after I have put on my makeup. Using less makeup of course. I’m just so happy to know several great grandchildren. Can’t believe I’ve lived so long.😊 you are just perfect ❤❤
Hi Patti, I’ve been following you for years because I identify with you ( turned 81 in October).I love putting on my make up in the morning ( minimal) so I feel good for the day. I absolutely do NOT go for trendy clothing..by now I think I know what looks good on me…definitely not bell bottoms🥴🥴 keep doing what you’re doing! Iplanti😍😍😍
Ms. Patti you are an inspiration to me. By God’s grace, I will turn 50 at the end of next month and I stopped fearing looking older years ago - after following older women social media for encouragement. I realized that I didn’t want to watch all the content that was trying to tell me how to look younger - I wanted to embrace the inevitable change that happens with aging. And, as for style, I believe in “You do you Boo.” If you feel confident in a certain type of outfit - then your confidence will be your best accessory!
Perfection is hard to improve on! You're the best and we love the time that you share with us. These are difficult times, so each of us need to stay on course with thankfulness for everything we have.
Hi Patti, Anna here. Food for thought and it's good to reflect on these matters. I think you're spot on; if what we do or wear feels right, then it's alright. I'm thinking nothing has really changed and nothing needs to change because that's what is important: that our happiness comes from within. You're a beautiful woman, inside and out... don't forget it.😘 Lots of love 💖
Patti you are beautiful, I’m 81 as well and every thing you ave said is exactly how I have felt this past year. I love makeup and learned so much from you , I have gotten some many people say they can’t believe I’m 81 . Self care is so important and I am comfortable “in my own skin at last” love you thank you 🙏 Sandy
When I had to start using a BB on my face. It seems I have very sensitive dry skin and it is so different. I am 72 but I didn't get facial hair. My wardrobe is relaxed and that serves me well. I love my gray hair and the minute I retired I started the transition with my hair. With the help of my hairdresser we did it and I love it. I know what you mean. I do have a beautiful daughter that keeps me on track. Lol Have a great Thanksgiving. Safe travels. ❤🙏
I'm 75, and wear what I like and feel good in, so should you. If someone doesn't like it, that is their problem. I have figured out that the ones pointing their finger are the ones that are feeling that way. Just stay yourself, we love the way you are.
I have just recovered.from a decade of being all but bedbound. After I began to be able to move freely, I got to watching UA-cam and ran across your channel. I'm 72 and realized if you could still do makeup, I could too. I them moved onto a strict regimen of skincare because I had neglected it so long. I also started searching for me-appropriate clothing. You started me on a journey of new discovery about who I am now and how I want to look. I have never followed trends. But finding items I want is difficult. However, this new lease on life I have is miraculous and I don't intend to waste it.Thank you for inspiring me.
Hi Mrs. Patti: I am almost 51 years old and in terms of wardrobe style I don’t follow trends and never will. My style is around classic pieces that never go out of style to dress up or dress down. Also, love cute fitness clothes for daily use. I added to my wardrobe a variety of cute and colorful sneakers, sailing loofas. I get rid of all heals. And also love boots because you can use them to enhance any wardrobe. You are stunning and love your approach to aging. Don’t worry about trends just select something that fits your style and make you feel good. Aging is a beautiful process and I am not afraid of it.
I’m 75 and I enjoy and have learned a lot about using my makeup watching you which is fun. I’m still working part time just to have those extra things like makeup but I am who I am. I lost my husband 24 years ago and have enjoyed my precious grandchildren and as they are moving into their 20’s and 30’s I find myself wondering about age. My faith says enjoy others, be kind to others, and enjoy what you can at whatever age you are.
I'm struggling with my style at age 81...it seems that everything has changed and why and how...I have questions....
But mainly it's about remembering to be kind...first being kind to ourselves so that we can then be kind to others....patti 🌷🍃

Patti ignore what the UA-camrs say ! Don't let it get to you for goodness sakes...
You just wear what you like !!!
I feel exactly the same and this is my experience.
I am just now feeling I need to make more of an effort however it will be only what I like to wear.
@@chaoswithsusan
I retired at 58 as well and it changed everything about how I dress now. And when I do go out, other than errands, I have such a hard time figuring out what to wear!! I am the sweatpants queen 🤣
I can not believe you are 81 yrs old! You are beautiful inside and out lady!
All of us are heading in the same direction … walking each other home. “Be yourself. Everyone else is taken.” (Oscar Wilde)
It's AMAZING what your makeup routine does!
I'm 74 thought I'd never be here
.. enjoy the gift of life ❤ GODS BLESSINGS
“Be yourself, everyone else is already taken”: Oscar Wilde
You are an inspiration to all of us so just keep on keeping on. ❤
My mother-in-law died at 94 and was classically stylish until the day she died.
I'm turning 80...and in clothing, about 2 decades ago, I adopted the Bohemian style...wrinkle free fabric, palazzo pants, peasant tops,
bold colors, belts or no belts, and very comfortable...the style fits Me to a tee...I've also body-permed My pixie hair style, at the crown, to give it a little volume and lift 🥰
**Pss...love your chats and videos 🥰
Patti, I am feeling the same as you about aging. It seems like you are telling my story. I just do what makes me happy and couldn’t care less on what others think. I have silver thin fine hair and wear it up in a fashionable way and looks appropriate and my husband also has silver hair and we both are happy where we are in life. We have our grown son and daughter who love us and it makes our life very rewarding. Oh I’m 82 and live in the hills of Pa…
Sounds just like my hubs and me.... Each day well lived and happy... that's all there is to life!
(protein2O)
And eyes bags really tell a story on me, but I am blessed to still feel good and feel pretty jiggy for my years.
I feel my face is showing it's age at 62. I see my mother in the mirror. Life can be tough at times and it eventually catches up.
My Mama used to say "getting old is not for sissies"🤍
Don’t buy into negative comments!!! I love watching you and am always inspired to look my best. I am 74. And I’m NOT afraid of aging!!!
You are an inspiration to me . Keep us going,Patty.
Great to see you as always! You really seem to have it altogether. You always look great. You have great style!
Hi Patti........You just be YOU!!! YOU are perfect. Live and enjoy everyday of your life!💕
Talking about how old you feel inside made me smile.
I love you ❤️💕
You are just feeling good about yourself now and looking forward to 82! BE YOU PATTY WE LOVE YOUR VIDEOS
I'm 55 and find you so very inspiring! You do you!!! ❤
I am a little younger than you and although I have taken very good care of my skin, I hate what I see in the mirror. And all the clothes in my cupboard don't make me feel confident. I need to get out of this rut and you are my inspiration dear friend. Please keep inspiring us 🙏🙏
About 65 it hit me.
At our age we need to wear what feels good to us I am not saying wear a mini skirt but just be yourself
Your makeup looks great and I always enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work!❤
At 76 & this last year I admit the mirror has aged me 🤣🤣🤣
I've adjusted my makeup,.lighter..
A lovely end result with your makeup Patty.
I love watching your videos. I feel the same way. I just want to be the best I can be. It makes me happy!
Agree. I tend to go classic with a touch of modern. I stopped caring what others think. I try to look sharp for myself.💃💃
You have nothing to worry about Patti, you will fit in anywhere 🎉😊

Your blue eyes are so beautiful.
Patti just be yourself, don’t worry about what others may think. Classic pieces never go out of style. You are beautiful just the way you are, be happy.
You ARE ok! You are a beautiful woman inside and out!
I enjoy your videos. You always look nice with your makeup and style. ❤
You look beautiful each and every time I see you on UA-cam. You inspire me!
Your hair is beautiful,
So glad to see u Mz Pattie - I'm loving that shade of blue on you, it's very pretty.
Happy Thanksgiving Pretty Lady ❤
I will be with my son and his wonderful family. I am so happy to be able to take care of me. Whatever that maybe, everyday is different 😊
I’m 66, with mobility issues. I dress for color and comfort. I so enjoy your get ready videos! Thank you for being YOU! ❤
You inspire me, I will be 70 in March
You're a beautiful woman, inside and out... don't forget it.😘
Lots of love 💖
You always look absolutely stunning see you soon ❤
Patti you are beautiful, I’m 81 as well and every thing you ave said is exactly how I have felt this past year. I love makeup and learned so much from you , I have gotten some many people say they can’t believe I’m 81 . Self care is so important and I am comfortable “in my own skin at last” love you thank you 🙏 Sandy
Yay, a video from rxstrmom!🙌🥰
I’m just saying getting old is a privilege. Take care of yourself as good as you can and be grateful. 👍🏻🌺
