Hey guys, thanks for this! Quick story: when I was 9 my dad worked for ABC in NYC. They had the broadcasting contract for the 1984 Olympics in Sarajevo. So our whole family got to go. We stayed there from Decemer 9, 1983 till the end of Feb 1984. We used to go to the old town all the time. We saw Mostar and the bridge. Also saw a bunch of Olympic events. We all were so upset when the wars broke out. I think the bldg we lived in was bombed. So it's wonderful to see the city so alive and thriving. It was a lovely walk down memory lane, thanks 😁🥰
Oh wow 😌🥰 Thank you so much sharing your memories with us Jen ❤️ Things are a lot better now, especially in the centre. You still see some marks of the war in the suburbs though unfortunately
Just had a binge watch of several of your videos. I travel regularly to the Balkans, and speak their language. I love it. Georgia is on the cards for this year and that’s how I found this channel.
Im from Bosnia , you have visited everything worth visit pretty much , nice tour. But I reccomend Jajce. And if you eat meat try ćevapi. Enjoy and have a nice time ❤
That was a bit steep to see a waterfall. I don't blame you for not going. The scenery is beautiful. It seems like driving everywhere is crazy. This was an awesome video! Safe traveling. 💕💕☺☺
Thank you so much for the amazing videos. Myself and my boyfriend really like watching your Chanel and have watched you from the begining 🥰. Such great content, nice to see all the different places you have visited. Love that you have tried a variety of transport and accommodation and so informative. Thank you keep up the good work, your both doing such a good job. Looking forward to your next video 😊
Shelley (and your boyfriend 😊), thank you so much for your kind words from the bottom of our hearts. We really appreciate it and it really means the world to us! ❤️
I like to gather a bunch of your videos and then binge-watch them all together. So my comments will be showing up all at once. Beautiful city and that food looked delicious. And I wouldn't have paid money to see the waterfall either.
Beautiful scenery again... The quality of your videos just get better and better! 👌👏🏻 I would not be able to pronounce the name of that dish no matter how many tries... 🙊
Another fantastic vlog from the dynamic team of Matt and Julia. Again, the scenery is stunning and my gosh, the place your staying is like 5 star hotel. Be well guys. Jim and Harriet, Richmond Va.

Great video. It’s such a shame they charge to see nature, isn’t it? The water falls should be free for everyone to see. But that’s people for you. Everything has a price. That place you stayed in was massive and so nice. Stay safe. Can’t wait for the next video. ❤️❤️❤️
Unfortunately yeah, the extreme prices seem especially true in Europe unfortunately. I would understand a few bucks but some of the prices are just extortion 😔
😂😂😂😂 The guy selling the air fresheners. So good. That part of the world is just stunning! I love going to “old town” in cities - always so interesting and beautiful!
The extreme heat is one of the reasons I always like to travel in October or early November. Damn! And I was wondering where I could buy a car air freshener in the shape of the Bosnian flag.
I went to the Kravica waterfalls this summer and it was super cool to see. But on a day as hot as 43C it's a no-go. You guys definitely made a good decision on staying in the car 😂 there is so much walking involved and so many steps that I almost had a heat stroke 😂And I had the worst sunburn 😂
Subscribed. Really enjoyed that video. If I'd known, I would have subbed you the entrance fee to the waterfall. Have you got a link to that huge AirBnB you rented?
They won't jump for less than 50€ - at least it was like that when we lived there. We heard on several occasions one of the divers saying to groups of waiting tourists 'no money, no funny' 😀
Why they would they risk their lifes jumping, and they make living from it, like street performers and musicians make money on streets of Dublin, London, Manchester, Liverpool etc
... and thanks for teaching us the "slippery fish" manoeuvre too! Will definitely promote it here in my part of the world, we have a serious problem with these bum-huggers! 🧐
The "Great Raid" into Bosnia was led by Prince Eugene of Savoy. He made it all the way to Sarajevo in 1697 AD. He burnt Sarajevo down and 40,000 Bosnian Catholics left Bosnia & Sarajevo at this time with Prince Eugene as he retreated back into Croatia. They didn't want to wait for the advancing Ottoman Turks. After this Christian exodus the muslim population increased as a % of the population.
