Tony drinking a Coke in victory lane “The may call this the Pepsi 400, but Coca-Cola taste a hell of a whole lot better” Pepsi execs reviewing their renewal
People are complaining about the Daytona 500 yesterday ending under caution because of a wreck, but this race ended under caution, with the field frozen, just for debris, which I would say is even more inexcusable.
I know Im asking the wrong place but does someone know a method to log back into an instagram account? I somehow forgot my password. I love any assistance you can give me.
@Brian Fox Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site through google and Im trying it out now. I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
This was a strange race for Daytona. I remember wqtching this race and being so confused by how spread out the cars were compared to the usual tight packs of plate racing. Even right after a restart the field was completely spread out within a couple laps. No other daytona race was like this, I wonder what was different on this night that caused this to happen. I always wonder what races at daytona and talladega would look like today without the plates creating big packs. I imagine it would look something like this where drafting is still a big factor but the field is a lot more spread out
I remember watching this race when I was little and I was happy that Tony Stewart won the race and it was the best nascar race ever in my life and it still is
Damn I was really pulling for Boris. Still an incredible job and a race to be proud of. He's 57 now but man would I love to see somebody give him a ride for Daytona Road later this year.
Almost 14 years years later and I’m still questioning why JJ Yeley went to the middle with Stewart behind him. He started the wreck in the back the very next lap too.
Greg Biffle gives Boris Said a good car at Daytona, The world center of racing. How does Boris repay him? Fast forward to 2011 Watkins Glen. Really Boris, Really -_-
Well Biddle shouldn't have been a bitch.. If you wanna fight.. Then fight! Yea Boris shouldn't have wrecked that guy. But if your gonna bark. You should at least be able to bite
In the original FOX, NBC/TNT TV package deal, the two networks would alternate the Daytona races; whoever had the 500 that year, the other would have the 400. That ended in 2007 when NASCAR's old package deal between FOX, TNT, and ESPN went into effect; Daytona Speedweeks and the 500 became FOX-exclusive.
Papa John Actually, you are incorrect, not the statistic. Gordon won the 2004 Aaron's 499, the 2004 Pepsi 400, the 2005 Daytona 500, and the 2005 Pepsi 400. That's 4 wins in that timeframe, not 3.

@Dylan Lawson what the hell is wrong with you firstly Tony Stewart has nothing to do with the wreck, then u act like this other guy is your friend, then you say some offensive unnecessary stuff towards him. I'm guessing u were high.

NASCAR's board of directors in 2008: let's take that comment Stewart made in 2006 and make it the new name of the second Daytona race
Just amazing that Boris said finished 4th in this race. Remarkable for a guy who was only making his 3rd start at Daytona.

I know. ridiculous. could have been a good finish

Last Race 2006 Pepsi 400 Daytona July On Fox

That CEO of Daimler Chrysler had an epic mustache and an epic accent.
He's German. He's a head of Motorsport for Daimler( MercedesBenz ). Daimler is the parent company for Chrysler/Dodge.
Chrysler isn't as American as you think lmao
The last FOX race of the good tv package
It was a good race. It was better than the year before.

@@matthewporrini50His only Truck win was in 1998 at Sonoma as well.

Boris Said sucks
should make a playlist of the whole 2006 season if you have it all uploaded
I never knew FOX carried the Pepsi 400 at Daytona. Always thought NBC carried it....kool though.
+remaster1981 In 2006 NBC had the 500 and FOX had the 400.

Baseball FTW!
It happily coexist with racing
Their stat at 1:06:41 is wrong. Jeff Gordon only had 3 wins in that period. The 2004/2005 Aarons 499 and the 2005 Daytona 500
