Many shoes have poor traction on wet grounds, including my designer shoes that cost ten times. I want to embark on a lifelong quest to wear Doc Martens forever...

I really want a pair of doc martens. but i think i have to get the tiwanese ones.. im not sure i can afford the english ones.. espically because i would have to get them shipped.. what im asking is if they are still good quality, and if i wont get ripped on having non english made docs?
my father back in the eighties went on a trip to the factories with his arts college and got along so well with the manager he got a free pair...*sigh* those were the days huh?
@systemfighter220 yea DM's are still good quality and well made even though their not made in England anymore.....people that were dedicated to the original DM's just cant get over it, it seems and put out this bad vibe and say their not as goon anymore......i say they still are.
@knobbystiles i have thailand made boots and uk made boots . man the fuckin thailand boots are comfier and i still wear them my uks are long gone in the trash because of the lack of sole hardness

@TheRealSamDole I'm not satanic, and i don't hate the chinese. my boots wern't made in china, but it makes me made that there made in china because the people that make them in the factories bearly ever get piad and a lot of them have cancer from enhaling the the glue that they use to hold the boots together, so its sort of like slavery. thats why it makes me mad.
I just got my 10 hole originals, and I'm getting my boyfriend the same pair but with the steel toe. I got a promotion and I have been wanting another pair forever! I remember my mom threw out my pair from high school cuz they were so beat. I was fucken devestated!!! LOL! Once you break them in there is nothing like them, they are awesome.

@bobski9595 to properly break in any leather boot,soak in water till fully wet,then walk them dry,reapply boot dressing.......Airbourne style!!!!!!
