      Yes I know that it’s a fruit and not a vegetable. But I’ve never seen any filipino using tomato for new year, at least for this purpose. Probably because tomatoes are fragile and can easily bruise due to thin outer layer as compared to the tough fruits. Sending you warm greetings and best wishes for 2025!
