I was able to get the analogue looking fuel gauge working with the digital sensor , but found the whole process difficult , you have to tell the gauge where it's getting it's info from on the network
word of warning. I did the exact same as you. Mine was for a 2003 200hp FICHT Evinrude. The sensor lasted for two uses. The small spindle that creates the flow data broke. Data was buggered and I had to disconnect it from the line. I didn't keep my receipt so could get my coin back. let me know how yours goes. Good luck

@Nuff51 Yeah that's right. That's probably some of the technical aspects of the unit. Not sure if I covered that?
Have you added the fuel data manager as well from SIMRAD.
