I see your avoiding the fact that it is affecting doctors. They cant access medical records or give prescriptions.

Do we ever get the full story from these propagandists?
Ofc not. There's always a cover story for things like this.
None of the news stories so far have mentioned alternatives to CrowdStrike OR Windows. It sucks, and people should know what thier options are.
I don't know of a good CrowdStrike alternative (sadly), but I do know that Linux is much better than Windows. On desktop it's already better, due to being out of control of large companies. On servers, it's amazing for stability and the software is more modular. Less chance of a single point of failure when issues are easier to isolate.
@@metalicminer6231 I don't want to be THAT cynical. But this narrative seems very convenient especially for those not from a tech background.
When have we ever?
there are probably lots of us who began computer careers forty plus years ago just sitting back smiling at the sudden surprise of everyone whose lives have suddenly been disrupted because of an over reliance on big tech companies who cut corners for profit rather than fully testing before going live with it - and to think the I.K. is doing a similar thing by the new government intending to be completely reliant on windmills and solar panels by 2030 - well this the chaos that happens when things don't work - except with no electricity it will be much worse.................

This is operating system crash on local level it is solved mostly by backing up the data and formating the PC and reinstalling everything back and it is worst possible problem that can happen to operating system and it takes extreme tedious work to restore things and it seems operating system has crashed in many servers simultaneously and it will take enormous effort time to restore it because it is like installing new server from scratch with restoring old data and working software of different companies while making sure they work as before

I'll use Windows 10 as long as it's supported, then I'm off to Linux. This will be my last Windows OS, mainly because I don't want AI integration in my OS. I don't mind AI which I have installed and configured and which is under my control, but not a third party's AI harvesting all my data.
It's less of a Microsoft issue than it is Crowdstrike. The AV is low enough level that it causes the problem with the OS before it boots.

CloudStike is monolithic, non-modular software. They need to compartmentalise and redesign it to make it so that modular, smaller updates can be applied.
