Although eight years has passed since its debut, Apink has positioned itself as one of the top girl groups in Korea. In about six months after fearlessly making a successful change in ‘I’m So Sick’ on July 1, 2018, Apink brings out its 8th mini album ‘PERCENT’. The title track ‘%%’ is a dreamy dance song with the electronic sound, describing a wish to wait for a nice person without compromising loneliness that often comes secretly at night. Particularly, the lyrics express the newly coined internet slang ‘o o (which means I got it in Korean)’ with ‘%%’ to wittily show the will of the speaker.

THIS SONG LITERALLY SAVED KPOP WORLD WAY BACK 2019
I really believe that the way APINK grew from their cute, bubblegum fairy concept was executed very well. Their maturity started with 'Only One' but they ensured fans that they didn't let go of their identity as APINK with 'Five' but it was time for them to steer towards a new direction with 'I'm so sick'. It almost feels like watching a young child grow up into a mature lady, this is why I will always be a Pink Panda no matter what happens.

Apink has always been consistent in giving us retro sound in all of their songs. They are the group who doesn’t need a rap to come up with a good song. They have good vocalists especially Eunji, Bomi and Namjoo. Eventhough they have changed their concept but we can still feel the old Apink vibe and I think it’s the sound, that Retro Cutesy Sound. Apink is still in the game though. Love this song.

well Apink didnt promote it that much :< Most pandas switched to other fandoms before they came back with Only One in 2016. At that time, groups like TWICE, GFRIEND and Red Velvet thrived so :< Nowadays most people only care for what's "in". In my opinion, %% is beautiful, aesthetically pleasing and a hidden gem. It needs to be known more! I am continously advertising it to my friends on mt FB/IG stories as well as Twitter 😊
