This is wonderful. Make it smaller and to see thermal spots is very very workable. I have a 68 blind person and it would open amazing doors. I will hope for the best.
As miraculous as these advancements are, the beginning steps are so painful to watch sometimes. Imagining what this could become makes the flashes of light and bulky cables seem that much more cumbersome. I would love to see what this becomes in those 100 years that were mentioned. Gonna be cool! 👽✌️
11:24 This reminds me of how the 80s video games looked like. Todays videos are exponentially more advanced. Imagine what this technology will look like next decade 🙏
I remember having this exact thought many years ago, so this is very exciting to see it actually becoming true. Something else that I think about though: could we use this technology to make it so we can see more than three colors?
So it's really sad how Nova's format for making documentaries has changed Used to be you'd never see anybody talk during a nature or a science documentary Now they seem to think they feel the need to have somebody's face in there talking every 30 seconds And when they do that it becomes more about that person and not what that person's talking about A well-done documentary never has anybody's face talking in it in my opinion

wow, so cool tech. If this is possible without the implant that would be incredible and scalable.

This is why people need to be excited for robots, AI, and positive futurism.
I believe the fears of emerging technology is because of being somewhat "burnt" on social media and things like that.
3 colors are better than none. And as long as ai isn't actually thinking for me...
