Florida State had a large group of kids that "opted in" for the 2023 season and put off the NFL - in fact, they played in the December 2022 bowl game against Oklahoma. That same group of kids (1) had to watch a important teammate break his leg in half 3 weeks before the end of the season, (2) decide that they would do everything they could as a collective TEAM to accomplish their goals without this important teammate, (3) then (after winning two emotional games) had a group of 13 dorks in Dallas tell them that those games DO NOT matter. It's a problem when a 13-0 record doesn't matter. Too much privilege is given to Alabama and Saban. Nobody screaming and crying would have a different attitude than FSU had if their sons were on that team.
They still could have played and proven they should have been in by beating Georgia. 14-0 is better than 13-1. Would have made history by being only the 3rd FSU team ever to do so. Instead, they had the Worst Loss Ever in FSU history. All because they quit. The game still mattered to Georgia. It still mattered to fans. It still mattered to those that chose to play. What does he mean by prove people wrong? They won 13 games this season and was riding a 19 game winning streak from last year. They didn’t have to prove anything. They should’ve been in the playoffs. No point in playing in the bowl game when more then half of the players been battling injuries all year
😂 Dumbest take ever. They opted out in spite. They did so, and they can continue to cry and blame everyone for not getting in. The committee already told them their perfect season/conference championship didnt matter....so the players told the committee their bowl game didnt matter. Exactly! You could have made that “alleged” argument had FSU actually tried to win the Orange Bowl. They did not! They decided just pout about the “what if’s”.
Bro I'm the biggest UGA hater because I'm a Vol but UGA is the best team in the country. They could beat all the playoff teams plus FSU.
I know everyone loves Mad Dog, but I can’t take him seriously after he said Shaq was only the FIFTH greatest center in NBA history.
It actually isn't that crazy. With KAJ, Russell won 11 in 13 years, Wilt the stilt dominated his era, Shaq is on the mount Rushmore of centers with those 3.
I can’t stand the big mouth!
That segment was funny AF 🤣😂🤣
These are the funniest segments in history!
is there a link to that commercial Mad Dog is mad about? haven't seen it yet 😂😂
Had they played, got their butts kicked, it would have ended their narrative. Had they played and won, it would have validated their claim. FSU didn't help themselves one bit.
@@treyabbey6477 dude that is a dishonest reply. If they won, everybody would be saying “Georgia didn’t have their full team” and you know it. You don’t know anything so let me educate you. These same guys are the ones that opted to come back another season when they had draft grades. They also played against 6-6 Oklahoma just to get norvell a 10 win season. So don’t talk about our players and call them quitters. Tf you need to prove riding a 19 game win streak and going undefeated. Did you not read? I can name half the players who opted out who were battling injuries and fought through injuries with their brothers to win that ACC championship. Tatum Bethune playing on 1 knee caught an interception to help win the game. Wilson and Keon weren’t 100% they helped the team and blocked their butts off. So don’t talk like you know something dude
@Kjbxll Yeah, ok. Last year has nothing to do with this year. So, FSU must have been the only team to battle through injuries? they had 4 weeks off. There's no "if" they weren't beating Georgia and they knew it and you know it.
@@treyabbey6477 last year does matter bc those are the same players minus Keon. Multiple star players had surgery. What’s the point in playing and making it worse after going 13-0. To entertain bums like you? Who said they wasn’t good enough anyways
i think FSU players not playing is completely validated. The committee already told them their perfect season/conference championship didnt matter....so the players told the committee their bowl game didnt matter. And a win against Georgia wouldn't have changed a single thing. Their season still would've been over this weekend regardless. There was nothing for them to "prove"
Bunch of poor sport losers at FSU committee made correct call
You basically proved Doggy point. They are a disgrace to college football and most likely got scared to get embarrassed by UGA. A win against UGA would've made a huge statement.
@@I.am.Pain.1985a win against Georgia means nothing. The season would still be over. You’re mentally challenged
The Orange Bowl is just a legit. It is one of the New Years Six. You show up. It’s also how the rank you post season
@@I.am.Pain.1985 What statement would it be?
Molly lookin like a snack per usual
if anyone is ever in need of a good laugh and is maybe having a rough time, y'all know this, show them this segment. Anyone who says they hate ESPN show them this Segmen. We love you MAD DOG!!!
