Come on, with the new interior to match its stunning look, F-Pace is probably the best overall mid size luxury SUV you can buy now. I have only seen an E-Pace twice (in the Dallas, TX area with massive numbers of new residents and strong economy). Jag doesn't market this thing at all, but from your review it is a credible alternative to the Stelvio.
@@zikamikakokoku Driven both 2 days ago,Alfa has changed most of the plastics in the cabin that were beyond dreadful 3 years ago when i gave up on it. The problem with the E-Pace, compared to the F-Pace is that the E-Pace is a Range Rover in a frock. The transverse engine, a la Range Rover Evoque, makes the proportions of the front less graceful, because it's very high and short. The F-Pace has a longer bonnet (hood) which looks better. Under the skin too, the E-Pace suffers. It's heavier than the F-Pace because the F-Pace is based on the XE aluminium platform, whereas the Evoque is steel. Certainly they've done what they can to turn it into a Jaguar, but the F-Pace is a real Jaguar with its unbeaten ride/handling compromise. No one understands that as well as Jaguar.
I just have never thought this new Jag entry SUV had a JAGUAR look to it. We've seen so many other Japanese SUV's over the years that have this same SIDE view......in fact,. the old Nissan Murano of a decade or more ago had this same look....it's just not a best side view choice for....Jaguar :( I went for the BMW X2 end of 2019 as my new car
@@KB-bh9hp if they turbocharged it, I would agree. But an NA 4 cylinder is weak. Put a 3.8L V6 in it NA, get about 285hp. It's a Jaguar. Not a Peugot or a Chevy Trax. I mean the F-Pace has gumption at least. All the Jaguars I ever drove were either supercharger screaming V6's, turbos 8's or V12's. SVR's, F-Pace, F-Pace SVR. Jaguar wants to still compete with Porsche, BMW and Audi, but sadly they don't even try anymore. I remember when Jaguar was the pinnacle of luxury and handling. If you weren't in a BMW or a Porsche, you had a Jaguar. Then slowly they have gotten worse and more tame. Now they are about equal in terms of performance and luxury to a really nice Nissan Maxima and that's sad.
@@clifbradley You took the words out of my mouth. Thank you. Jaguar is losing their mind. The new XF used to be have a V8 and V6 option. Now? All they offer is a 4 cylinder! What?! I can get a Camry with a better engine and it'll last a million miles, for half the price. If I'm paying 60 to 80 F'ing grand for a car or suv, it WILL have at the minimum, a supercharged/turbo V6 or more. I can't believe how lame this world is getting with 4 cyl overpriced "luxury" vehicles. This E Pace should be $45K maxed out with every option with this engine. Might as well just bite the bullet and go full electric if they are going to use overstressed 2 liter gas engines with 20 minutes of rev hang.
It is silly to compare Jaguar with Toyota and Honda. These are totally different segments. You wont find Jaguar's level of sound isolation, premium materials and craftsmanship in Toyota or Honda. All Toyota has to offer you inside the car is a ton of plastic.

Had any issues since you got your e-pace?
I see this model in California every now and then, really like it...awesome interior, cool design, small and compact, perfect little urban SUV!
The EPace is inspired by the FType. If you put them side by side you can see what I mean. Interiors too.

Guys, imagine if the E-pace model had the F-pace's front lights and if the hilarious ''o-shit'' bar was removed. Still love this SUV!

They put a 4 cylinder in it. That Jaguar is screaming because someone took its balls. At a minimum do a V6.
LOL
A v6 would be a little overkill on a vehicle of this size, especially if it was a turbocharged v6, which it probably would be.
