- Opening in 2011, this small wooden coaster has changed the game for family roller coasters. Gravity Group LLC has seemed to have cracked the code on making fun, airtime filled roller coasters with a very limited amount of space. In this view, I provide my complete in-depth review of this crazy family wooden coaster.
That is such a great picture of you & your daughter! Priceless! I really enjoyed my one ride on Wooden Warrior. I was there at opening, and got a back row ride. But after then riding the other coaster, Wooden Warrior's line was up to about an hour or longer. The previous day, Lake Compounce had 1.5 to 2 hour waits on everything, so I figured Quassy would be the same. That's why I was so happy that Quassy had the option to pay per ride with the ride tickets. The CT parks were unbelievably slammed when I was there, and those were weekdays. If the crowd was reasonable, I would've loved to marathon Wooden Warrior.
Im sure now if you make a trip over to Quassy, the lines should be a lot better!
Yeah, I just happened to be there on a very busy week, but SFNE was empty.
I like the flags on the lift hill
in Parc saint paul at france, there is another cool gravitygroup woodie, quit similar to this named Wood express, and like wooden warrior,it is a masterpiece
It’s a little giant. I rode it with my 5 year old nephew back in May this year. It’s so much fun. Smooth.
It's a great ride!
I missed it on my way to Lake Compounce in October. I’ll definitely hit it maybe even this summer because it’s not unreasonably far from me.
I love this small park. I did a solo trip from Baltimore in 2018 where I stopped at Luna Park (Coney Island), Rye Playland, and SF New England in Day 1. For Day 2 I went to Lake Compounce and then Quassy. I got in a handful of rides and loved that this was my final coaster. Was so smooth and fun. I also love old park atmospheres. I also went to the PEZ Factory after that, which was awesome. Lol.
Omg you pronounced it perfectly, I'm shocked. It's 45 minutes from me and I still don't have the credit yet but may knock it out this weekend.
I think that Idlewild should replace Wild Mouse with one of these. While some may argue that Rollo Coaster would be too similar, a Gravity Group woodie would have better forces while Rollo Coaster is a less intense experience. However, I believe that Idlewild needs a kiddie coaster before they get a Gravity Group woodie though.
Idlewild could use a lot of things, but yeah a family Gravity Group woodie would be awesome!
I don't care if it's a family coaster . . . . got to like those Timberliner Trains
They're the best!
Jason Maier wildcat in Lake Compounce needs new trains. Awful. Wrenchy.
Jay Dobbins Yea Wildcat at LC needs better trains. The heavier the train, the smoother the ride!
I want to go to Quassy to ride this
Yea you can go to Quassy, kill a few hours, get a few rides, and you’ll be leaving the park speechless. This is my local park and I’ve been on this a bunch of times!!!
And btw forgot to mention you were right with the pronunciation 👍
What town are you located in?
Good, objective review.
Thanks!
Nice
I WAS BUILDER!
Fantastic video! Thanks for making it. I'll be sure to subscribe. I make theme park videos too and Canada's Wonderland is my home park. I'd love it if you would check out my videos. If you have any advice I'd appreciate it ☺️
