i was born and raised in north st.louis... did most of my shopping on 14th street... my sister worked at crown candy when she was 14 years old... this was in the middle 1950s.. she and her husband still go there when they are in the area...
I just watched Adam Richman from the Travel Channel ( Man vs. Food ) try to drink 15 milkshakes at Crown Candy. I thought, how neat for a business like that to still operate, and that I would plan a small trip to wherever it's located, within reason. My jaw dropped when I found out that it's St. Louis.
Their prices went up a lot since this video & that is not good for business! When you keep prices halfway reasonable you will get more customers! A generous man will prosper!
Masturtle san now a days they have creepy statues right by crown candy. I haven’t gone since 2015 but they creeped me out. I need to go back tho. That place is heaven
