Considering the costly circumstances of the recertification of the CNG tank it's not an easy flight especially after the downfall of preserving Command TMC RTS CNG #4904 a while back I guess they decided not to take that risk again. Though honestly myself I would've loved to see one get preserved myself.
@@kalelc1996 yea I’m so greatfull that MARTA Preserved some of their fleet, but when they were in service they didn’t take care of them well the cng buses we had were Orion and new flyers, like around 2013-15 the cng variants sometimes they would still leave some parts with huge dents, still to this day it even like that with the we have gilligs now they still treat it the same for some reason, but I’m glad they preserved some buses I enjoy like the gct Orion 7 cng 30ft and Marta’s first cng bus 1996 new flyer C40LF #2701, and they keep a 2000s unit in their facility #2857 unit

All of these buses were scrapped . They should have preserved one as a museum bus
I believe they were scrapped for a reason, besides CNG Tank Expiration. It's because of they're legendary sound.
