Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is a 2023 first-person shooter video game developed by Sledgehammer Games and published by Activision. It is a sequel to 2022's Modern Warfare II, serving as the third entry in the rebooted Modern Warfare sub-series and the twentieth installment in the overall Call of Duty series. The game was released on November 10, 2023, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
Modern Warfare III retains the realistic, modern setting of its predecessors and continues the sub-series storyline. The story follows multi-national special operations unit Task Force 141 tracking down Vladimir Makarov, a Russian ultranationalist and terrorist planning to trigger a third World War. The game's multiplayer includes sixteen remastered maps from 2009's Modern Warfare 2, with at least twelve new maps planned for inclusion post-launch. A Zombies mode, co-created by Black Ops sub-series developer Treyarch and built around an open world player versus environment experience, is also included.
Call of Duty: Warzone was a 2020 free-to-play battle royale first-person shooter game developed by Raven Software and Infinity Ward and published by Activision. It was released on March 10, 2020, for PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One as part of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) and was subsequently connected to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War (2020) and Call of Duty: Vanguard (2021), but did not require purchase of any of the aforementioned titles. Warzone allowed online multiplayer combat among 150 players and featured both cross-platform play and cross-platform progression between the three aforementioned titles.
At launch, the game featured two main game modes: Battle Royale and Plunder. Warzone introduced a new in-game currency system that could be used at "Buy Stations" in and around the map. "Loadout Drops" were a key in-game object allowing players to access and switch between their customized classes and were obtainable through purchase with the Cash currency. At launch, Warzone only offered Trios, a squad capacity of three players; Solos, Duos and Quads were added to the game via post-launch updates.
Upon release, Warzone received generally favorable reviews from critics. Warzone was downloaded by six million people within 24 hours of its initial release; by April 2021, the game surpassed 100 million downloads. A sequel, titled Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0, was released on November 16, 2022. A mobile version of Warzone, titled Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, was announced in March 2022, and was released on March 21, 2024. In June 2023, Activision announced that servers for Warzone would be shut down on September 21, 2023 to focus development on Warzone 2.0.

man I recently played mw19 mp and oh lord when the nostalgia wore off the game just kicked me straight in the balls. the amount of people camping is insane and maps' layout is just straight up horrible. Aside from graphical fidelity, the game's atmosphere/vibe and setting, everything else was just not fun. Imo MW3, despite it's obvious flaws, has the best gameplay out of the reboots .
You know why? Because the last 4 games still has those same stuff MW2019 had. The difference is, MW2019 is the only modern COD game that feels with a purpose and real effort. They promised so much with MW19 just to comeback to the Advance Warfare, but even worse
Fun fact: The “M16” in MW2019 is just cosmetic blueprint of the M4 called “OG”

@@finder1335 Pues si y no: No porque supo dar un paso más a saga debido a todos los detalles que lo apegan mucho a la realidad y que lo hace el mejor COD de esta generacion. Y si por eso del SBMM que le implantaron que hizo que el juego tuviese más fallas en el apartado del multijugador.
