The music is "Black Oak" by The Rippingtons. I'm sure Russ Freeman did not use the Pro Negra to record this tune. Very misleading by implying what you are hearing and seeing are the same instrument.
Yes, I love the Rippingtons! You are right, it might be a little misleading, especially because I played a small bit along with the song. But I really only meant to use it as background music.
What a beauty !!
How does the GK Pro Negra compare (tonally speaking) with the GK Pro (Spanish Cyprus back and sides) and the GK Pro Maple (Maple back and sides).
Which of the three has the "fullest and bassiest tone". Which has the brightest and most clear treble tones? Which is in the middle?
Which has the greatest "sustain"... Which has the least?
Of course man. That's good enough. How does the neck feel. Does it feel the same as the gk studio or a little more stiffer ? I cannot wait until I get mine!!!!!!
Ok then, I will try my best to sound good. I am going to buy studio equipment for an empty room sooner. I will be able to record music :)
It's been awhile sense I played a Studio. I played a Cyprus. I recall it was well build, if anything, I'm guessing that this neck is stiffer. The neck it great though, it was set up when I got it. And boy that Fishman is killing me, it sounds great.
vs 55fcenegra...which one is better??
They're very similar, nearly a tie really, but I'd say the Pro Negra is the way to go. The 55FCE might have a smaller sound acoustically. Either one is an excellent choice
Hector Munoz cordoba is the brand i’m seeing...made in China series are far more versatile and sound better than made in spain series in the same price range..i wonder how come its true...!!!
@@SoumyadiptaRay They're actually built to the same standard, the management is similar on both sides, from what I've played and talked to with others, I've never heard a bad word about a Cordoba guitar. And every GK Studio model I've played sounded and played incredible. Go for one of those of you're not ready to spend on a Pro model.
Hector Munoz thanks a lot Hector.. i’m from India..Cordoba is not available here to buy..still planning if can fetch one model from USA via any of my friend or relatives..havent even touched the instrument ever but only videos and youtube reviews..i play mainly classical and finger-style jazz so in search of a model with appropriation and amplification too..thanks for your kind feedback.. ❤️ from India...
Where is it made?????
It says Hand Made in China hidden in the neck joint inside the sound hole. The craftsmanship is incredible.
I have yet to play a better nylon guitar.
you can find better photos of this guitar here on GuitarSalon. These are pictures if my personal guitar on their website. This guitar store usually only sell special hand made guitars costing up to $5,000 - $15,000 average. But they do sell Cordoba too. Even they know.

Please post sounds videos. I'm buying one soon. Thanks.
Unfortunately, I do not have a microphone and soundboard to record with, so I could only use the internal mic of my camera, if that's ok?
hey man can you let me know the name of the song ? thanks for the share cheers
The song is 'Black Oak' by 'The Rippingtons'.
you should listen to more of them, they have great jazz contemporary guitar music across their many albums. Thanks for watching.
So I take it we are not actually hearing a GK Pro...
Just a little bit near the end, but it was slightly out of sync, and was recorded with a cheap mic to the camera.
a commercial; nothing more
Great job this really shows the true beauty of this guitar , cordoba should hire you to film all there whole range ;)
Thank you so much, I actually didn't really plan anything and I didn't have a good Mic so it could have been allot better, but I've been so busy lately and I've been wanting to make a better video and sound Test.
Thank you :)
