I am Learning to let go my beloved Son. He live now in another city and i thank God that He is with him all the time. We parents we need to learn to let go our sons and daughters so that they can learn to make their own experiances. all we need to do is pray for them and let them know that they are are loved and welcome at any time.

I pray to no one in Heaven except Christ the Savior who connects us to God. I do ask God to tell my mom how much I love and miss her. Not sure if God relays the messages but I only seek what his will is. So if my messages to her through him is not in his will I'm good with that.

But here we see a father that does not love his son enough to live within visiting distance of his deserted family--and hasn't even realized it was important. Now, the son is grown, and it is too late. Let's see if the movie acknowledges the fall of the Christian church. The parents dump their kids in daycare as infants. Through all their years, the kids get one hour at dinnertime with mom (and possibly a dad.) Parents are tired and irritable. Homework is hard. Tests are hard. Social media has the strongest influence. What do you expect.

The coach's daughter was courageous enough to confront her father and there was no apology! That is unacceptable! In the Kingdom of God it is always God first, then family, then everything else! Even with a pastor, it is God, wife, family, then pastor and his sheep! If a man can't raise a family in a Godly manner, he has no business being a pastor or a leader of anything! Paul makes this very clear in scripture!

I was looking for this comment. My very thought. That name was not appropriate for a Christian team. I thought they would have changed it at the end when they believed. Although it was an overall good movie, there were some questionable Christian doctrine involved. That is why it is so important to study and know the Word of God, the Bible, for ourselves.
